I think I just like 4 player co-op shooters.

I've held off on writing a review until the day came where I could play during peak hours w/o waiting in an unreasonably long queue.

I'm happy to report that day is here.

This game is absolutely worth your time. The gameplay loop is satisfying/addicting, the gunplay is weighty, the visuals and sound design are top notch, the monetization feels way friendlier than most other games on the market. Wrap all of that up in the over-the-top satirical world building of SUPER EARTH, and what you have is one of the most enjoyable horde-shooters in recent memory.

This game is unashamedly proud to be itself. It feels like the core vision of what the developers at 10 Chambers wanted to make was never compromised, and that alone should be worth something.

Thankfully, that isn't all this game has going for it. Moment to moment gameplay in GTFO is a rollercoaster between tense stealth and frantic action, and the atmosphere of its environments and storytelling are very easy to become immersed in. The gunplay is satisfying, and resource placement within the levels ensures you both explore the environment and are always rationing what little you can find.

I want to wish 10 Chambers the best of luck on their next project, and hope they can showcase that same passion there as they did here.
