This software is awesome, I love being able to simple delve myself into a space/storm while relaxing in my chair.

would give it a full 10, but a lot of the themes out for download dont seem to work with my external monitor :/

For being one of the ones who got this game in VERY early alpha, to see just how far it's come makes me really glad.

I've had to re-build my fortress every single time an update came, out. But ya know what? It gave me an opportunity to see what could be improved (- Kinda like the beginning stages of Minecraft -)

One thing I would LOVE to see in future development is weather implementation, having a raging storm happen during a horde invasion... oh jeebus. I think I'd be shaking in my boots if that were to ever happen. Mainly because of the moody lighting the game has overall. Makes it pretty spooky.

Also, moon phases would be an EXCELLENT addition, making nights be very light ( Full Moons obviously ), and of course the opposite, PITCH BLACK DARKNESS OF DEATH ( New Moons ), as well as if the phases could variate the behavior of the zombies, ( sort of like Terraria's "Blood Moons" )

Overall, I very VERY much enjoy this game, AND ITS STILL ONLY IN ALPHA!
So if you're looking for a survival horror, I would definietly recommend this, because of several reasons.
1. Multiplayer Ability ( USE YOUR FRIENDS AS BAIT, SO YOU CAN ESCAPE! xD )
2. SO MUCH POTENTIAL. ( Alpha doesnt mean what it means for nothing #improvmentsANDadditions GUARANTEED )
3. BUILD STUFF AND ADVENTURE ( Since the release of that awesome random gen INFINITE world bit, there is LIMITLESS area to cover.. Ive went on 4 day walks to find a chainsaw or auger and have got NOTHING, showing just how vast the landscape is! And cmon, none of us can say that we dont like building MASSIVE IMPENETRABLE FORTRESSES. I mean jeez. )
4. GUNS AND BLUDGEONS AND THINGS ( Pretty limited NOW, #Alpha# )
5. My hands hurt
6. Support the small guys! THEY'RE PIMPS MAN! x3
7. You're dead at this point... . . . Heh~

Keep up the good work Valve, give TF2 its righteous revitalization its so deserved. It has numerous opportunities and paths it can go for so many future updates.

Reverting my review back to positive, Valve has done well on their part tackling the bot/cheater problem. I couldn't be happier that I ate my words about nothing happening.

Ok boys and girls, its been 10 years since I made this review. I have nearly 14000 hours in this game now.

I still very much love TF2, and always will. But... I cannot recommend this game anymore.

The fact that you have to play on community driven servers in order to actually enjoy the game, is so abhorrently pathetic that the developer needs to either give this wonderful game over to a different development team, or just let it die already. Of course, fixing all the issues would be superb, but that will NOT happen, and we all know it.
