It's like a more historical KSP, but with less focus on physics. If you ever played KSP and thought, "I wish I could auto-resolve this mission and just gain the science and funds to run a space program", then this game is for you. If you're insanely competitive, this game might drive you insane as you try to be the first to visit every planet.

If you've never played State of Decay, I recommend this version. It has all the DLCs and looks better than the original. I got this for free for some reason, I bought the original and all the DLCs.

Abandoned by devs. They claim it's playable, but that's like going to a car dealership and buying just the tires, cause they technically roll.

Early Access Review
Servers are shutting down. Do not buy this game. Last early access game I gamble on.

Early Access Review
It's more fast-paced than Verdun, but something about it feels right. The game seems to suffer from a lack of players. There are three modes of play, the first being the 'default' Entente vs Central Powers, one mode I still don't understand (no one plays it) and a free-for-all mode, that again, no one plays.

At first I rolled my eyes when this game came out, I thought it was a COD version of Verdun. I tried it when it went on sale, and I was hooked. When I played Verdun, I had to force myself to enjoy it, something was missing. But playing Tannenberg, I realize that the inclusion of AI bots really helped the game along. At times the bots can be dumb, getting hung up on terrain, but other times they can be outright deadly. If there is a squad of them running from cover and you shoot one, the other two bots will react and return ACCURATE fire back at you.

Pros
Updated graphics
Game feels better, like a completely new game while still keeping the WWI feel
Can lock your squad to your friends only

--Cons
- Low amount of players

Definitely worth a buy.

I nominated this game for a "Renewed my faith in RNG Jesus" award. This game is one of those games that you'll rage quit one day, and then come back to for a week straight. When the dice rolls, which are done behind the scenes, work for you the game is great. But as soon as you lose a henchman you've put so much time into because of a bad start on a map, you'll hate the game. I never played the board game, so I can't say which is better. I like games that have customization, progression and achievements. This game has them all. If you get the game, make sure you watch youtube videos on how not to suck or find a Lets Play and see how they roll. No pun intended.

I can't play the game due to a well-known memory leak. Spent my "three hours of gametime" patching the game every time a patch came out hoping that they would fix it. Alas, the memory leak still makes this game unplayable. Tried every fix I could find on Google. Tried to get a refund, but Steam won't refund it. Haven't made it out of the tutorial zone because the game crashes every five minutes.

I can't say enough good things about this game. If you've ever played RTS games, and just wanted to build every building there is, lean back and look on in glee at the city/base you've created, then this game is for you. You can attack rival factions if you wish, you can buy them out, or you can just play a map by yourself. If you are tired of the many campaigns/single missions, you can play with a friend, or you can load up a map, build a city, research whatever you want then load up your Ark and then start a new map and everything in your Ark and all the research you've created will carry over. I find myself intending to play the game for a few minutes only to be reminded by the game's AI that I have been playing for hours and should get up and stretch or take a break. Seriously, awesome game. Check out Let's Plays on YouTube to make sure this is your cup of tea.

Damn good MMO, hope it stays. I can't stop thinking about it. No mob levels, everything requires skill and skill increases as you play. Message me if you have questions, I could talk all day.
