Gameplay is dated and it"s more of an on rails shooter than other games - linear and a bit ham handed with the point it"s making.

No clue how the base game is, but the mod scene is incredible. Star wars, Battlestar Galactica, and Halo mods abound on moddb.com

This is the video game adaptation of Aliens that we all need. Half of the fun is watching your team dissolve in panic while the xenomorphs relentlessly dismember your squad. Bonus points if your party is on voip and you can hear the gibbering fear take root!
