A free and short demo of a colony game in a colorful art style.

This demo version of the game shows the capabilities of the template for the Unity game engine. This is just a preview of that asset, so not a full game in itself. And the author of the game himself indicates this in the description of the game.

Plot:
This is a pretty cool and simple simulator of the creation and development of a settlement colony.
A lot of players might enjoy a game like this if this game is eventually finished and polished.

[ ] Advantages:
  • It's free!
  • Simple and quite detailed art style.
  • Convenient control in the game.
  • Easy to understand the mechanics of the game.

[-] Disadvantages:
  • The game has some bugs. A lot is left unfinished. For example:
    - Oil well does not pump oil under any conditions as well as water pump and mine.
    - Your workers stop working and refuse to do anything at a point even though they have 100% on health food and happiness.
    - If you build a mine of any kind its completely broken your workers will build and act like they are harvisting but you never get anything out of the mine or oil rig.
    - Colonists frequently glitch on buildings, just standing there, unmovable, blinkety-twisting and turning, doing nothing.
    - It is useless to create weapons in this game, because they are not used.
    - Towers don't shoot.
  • No music or sound effects besides the GUI.
  • The exit button doesn't exist.
  • Permanent micromanagement of colonists.
  • There is no goal in the game, just survive and that's it.
  • English only. However, it is possible to understand the general meaning without knowing English.

Conclusions:
This game has good potential, but currently it's just a demo with a lot of bugs.

Don't expect too much from this and don't expect a full game. As the author promises, this is just a demo version.
But some players may enjoy spending an hour or so here.
If it's free, why not?

This demo version of the game was released a long time ago and the developer has not yet released a normally working update. Therefore, there is no longer much hope that a full-fledged high-quality game will eventually be born.

Overall, I had fun playing the game for about a couple of hours. If an update and a full game comes out, then I will be glad to play it.
