Early Access Review
Went to the Black Forest to gather core wood to craft a pickaxe (I somehow lost mine). It started storming and I couldn't see anything; eventually I found the pine trees, slid down a hill while running after a log and almost died by trees falling over each other.
I am no lumberjack but the music, atmosphere and lighting are absurdly good.
10/10

Even though I did not play this game alot I can for sure say that it is a lot of fun! Especially when you burn down your entire base thanks to your good friend! Thanks Carl...

10/10 would burn it all down again

Hunt a bear, hunt some rabbits, fish. If you're vegetarian, grab some berries. Sleep in a lighthouse or in a hollowed tree. Forget to melt and boil snow, drink 6 sodas on the go. Shot flairs at wolves and get your ankle sprained while running down a hill. By its apparent simplicity, this game can really make you feel as if you are lost in a winter wonderland, pushing yourself to survive one day at a time. I fell in love with the art style, the sounds and the mechanics. The story so far is also well made, giving you another reason to push forward and confront the dangers of the wild.
The northern lights are stunning but don't get yourself lost in them for too long or a bear might nibble at your ankles :).
10/10 would die by northern lights again.

Update: even though Episode 3 did not live up to my expectations and I can say that Episodes 1 and 2 were better, I still support this game 100%!

Just like everyone else, I started this game having next to no knowledge of what to do. I spammed the Guide with all and every item, material and bit of scrap I found in the world. Everything killed me and every time night came along I would run to my mud hut and sit there until all zombies were out of sight.
Fast forward some 20-30 hours and I was running aroung killing zombies, goblins and Bosses all around. The Terraria wiki was my new best friend since I wanted to have every item in the game; eventually I had about 20 chests full of weapons, vanity items and every silly or useless item I was able to find on the way.
Truth be told I did spend a lot of hours building and diging. I made a huge world tree with glass globe biomes in it's canopy, a forge, living quarters, the chest room, a statue and armor display room made out of marble, a stone tower for all 24 NPCs (Truffles had his own mushroom glass biome), a sky island with a mage mini-tower, a desert pyramid, a Christmas themed igloo, a beach cabin with a peer and a jungle shack. So yeah I wasn't by far done with my world creation but I also wanted to 'finish' the game.
I faught every Boss, rampaged the Dungeon and Lihzahrd Temple, beat all events. Got the highest armor and weapons. Explored every inch of the world.
Even though I lost everything after patch 1.3.4 because my worlds and characters were not saved on cloud, I'm not mad.
Every play is unique. I am ready do to it all over again.
