Early Access Review
Honestly, some people will HATE this game, and that's ok!

Because the people who like it, will REALLY like it.

This is classic Gower in terms of game design, it feels like I'm back playing RuneScape when it was brand new and open-ended and noone really knew what they were doing or why they were levelling skills, only that numbers went up and that was fun.

The grind is real, the quality of life features are locked behind a lot of gameplay, but that makes unlocking them feel that much better.

The room and tile system takes a while to get used to, but I love it. The overall aesthetic is beautiful and unique, and tbh feels like a dnd tabletop.

Are there some annoying issues? Yes. But the patches fixing these issues are absolutely flying off the shelves.

I'm really excited to see where the future of this game goes.

haha this game is so fun and doesn't take the inspiration from a netflix show that would be silly lol.

also it's free? that's cool.

As a long-ago fan of Homestuck, it's nice to see Andrew Hussie back at it again.

The prose and art is signature Hussie - if you liked Problem Sleuth, or Homestuck, I do highly recommend picking this up.

While only the first chapter is out yet, it has drawn me into the story. The plot so far is compelling enough that I am awaiting the next update eagerly.

The music is also great as well. Clark Powell is well known to Homestuck fans for his work there, and it's great to hear his music here. In many ways, it is just as iconic as Hussie's art and prose.

Overall, definitely pick this up if you are a fan of Andrew Hussie's previous works. I would still recommend trying this even if you've never heard of him before - from the first chapter alone it looks like this will be a very unique, very interesting, Visual Novel.

What person hasn't played Runescape?

While old, and updates may be more sporadic than they used to be, Runescape still has a massive amount of content, and is still very much worth playing.

I just wish there was less MTX.
