If you are thinking of sending a friend request, stop. Consider the following:

I am an old man, probably old enough to be your grandfather.

As such, I don't appreciate being addressed as bruh, or whatever the sound is that currently passes for language.

If you are young, it is not cool to have me as a friend.

I get irritable, especially if I miss my afternoon nap. That's my prerogative, I am an old man.

I use my real name, it is easier to remember than making up another. I do not expect others to do the same. But if you are one of those that frequently changes their name, do not expect me to remember who you are. I am an old man and I don't remember what I had for lunch today.

I will try to help anyone if I can. People I have helped have been kind enough to send me steam points. Please don't do this. I have no idea what they are or what they are for.

Please don't waste your time telling me what steam points are or what they are for. I am an old man. I don't care about these things.

With all that said, I never refuse a friend request and I am never upset by anyone cancelling it.
