This game brought a lot of childhood memories back, and playing through it got me excited to beat the game.
Hope to see more games from Frictional Games!

I find this game easier to come back to with friends without having to worry about a ghost not listening to what you're saying about 80% of the times.

After lasting 14 hours playing this game and spending me and my friend Saki 2 days to finish it, I'd say that we both were satisfied with how the game ended. It gave a crazy huge amount of content and gameplays for both parties to enjoy, and the thrilling experience we've gone through could've risked us a noise complaint over how many times we cheered on.

Whoever would want to give this a try, grab a friend and ride along; only you have to pay for the game so inviting a friend won't be as hard considering Friends Pass allows your friend to play for free with you.

I would highly suggest to play A Way Out before playing this, so that you'll get the Good Feels when you get certain references

We both thank you for this awesome game, Hazelight Studios. It was worth all the hours and money spent.

Coming back to this franchise was a blast to go through, to experience a newer perspective to a childhood game of mine.

Ever since first playing this game back at 2018 from Desktop, I've been playing this game partially constant. While not spending 24 hours every single day on it, I'd say its a nice game for you to play and relax in regardless if you're in Desktop, VR or Full Body.

Regardless of how often people are shaming here and there depending on what community we're a part of, nothing takes away the positive thought that the developers made all of this game possible with no need to pay; and its been that for 2 years of my playtime.

Now they're coming up with VRChat Plus (VRC ), and did that spark a lot of entitled people to go: "Ew, free gaem want monis". Honestly, I don't give a damn about that; for the 2 years of me playing this game I haven't been prompted to pay VRChat Inc. any dime for playing their game.
Now that there is an upcoming opportunity to support the developers for their work, I'm more than happy to go yearly on subscriptions in appreciation for their works.

Also, people should stop comparing every single companies like they're a bunch of money-grabbers just because there's an option to pay. This is merely an option with this upcoming VRC , don't want it? Don't buy it.

For it being an Early Access Unity game, its a fun ghost hunting game with or without friends.
The scares are there, the anxiety rises, you laugh at friends being scared of the ghosts.
And once you've caught onto the mechanics, there's still some things that comes up as a surprise; for example:
Potential Spoiler: Me and a friend got a Poltergeist as a ghost, we were inside the room the ghost resided to; all the doors shut and past the bathroom and towards the closet room which we had open was shut: And something was playing music in there, regardless of there not being a music player or a person inside there. There was only 3 of us, and the other guy was at the van. We "Noped" the ♥♥♥♥ out.

And even if you don't have friends to play along, you can always try out randoms that you find in the server list; and considering its an Early Access game, I suggest joining their official Discord to get updated on announcements or if a bug has been caught that affects the entirety of the game. (For example, Voice Chat stops working between players)

Oh, and the whole thing about "The ghost can hear you even if you don't use Push-To-Talk" is the best creep factor too.

I've played through the entirety of this game on my friend's PS4 and on my brothers' PS4s on several occasions because I didn't have the console myself and didn't plan to get one either. When I got this game for PC however I expected there to be flaws with controls and such, but after playing through a couple of the chapters through the first gameplays for each characters; the controls are really comfortable to play with and I don't expect there to be much flaws.

I partially expected the click and drag interaction to be tedious, but thankfully it ain't a moment where you have to launch your mouse through your entire house to get one interaction done.

A friend of mine gifted this to me, and I'm thankful for it. And if you read this, I will enjoy every bit of it.

I have spent 1463 hours playing this on VR from the Oculus app and spent 62 hours on screen mode from Steam, and it has given content that are suitable for many folks who would like to give it a try. This game has given me more motivation to talk to people and thus I have gained a lot of friends.
Now I'm strolling around the game, seeing new faces and some familiar ones, helping the new and the experienced folks. Even though it mentions it's still an Early Access game, it feels like an actual game itself that can be worked on for years with new content and optimization.

Got VR? Give it a try!
Don't have VR? Doesn't matter.
Lonesome? Come join the community and find some good folks!
