Classic battlefield 3 experience in a HIGH PLAYER COUNT setting and Basically Flawless performance.

Actually worth your time.

The thing about Baldur"s Gate 3... at least as it stands in EA is that it somehow captures all the little details about what D&D is about... From your companions physically having bruises during a long rest, to Solving a puzzle by having to fill up containers with items and placing them onto traps to make them harmless.

Basically Larain Studios have taken what they know best (RPGs) and were given the ability to apply that perfectly to D&D 5e... If we had some Modding tools (which look to be on the way, or are already being worked on in the community) and a DM mode, I suspect you might be able to host your next D&D session in this game.


Obviously, it being in EA means it"s not perfect, there is some issues with some animations (some of them lag out, Or will not work right, or you"ll get a glorious Shmeat shot of your character), sometimes janky and broken interactions and so forth, but the base and what"s in the game are already VERY positive and show a solid underlying foundation in both the game Engine and the games design, If you"re hesitant to buy EA, place it on your wish list and wait for the full release, Otherwise, give it a shot, the only disappointment you"ll face is when you get the Early access screen when trying to go somewhere that isn"t made yet.

If you like first person shooters, you NEED to play this game, The movement is fluid and the gameplay is the best of the best. This game deserves to be topping the charts.

If you like the gun fighting of ARMA but not the incredible amount of work it takes to actually Play ARMA, this is the game for you. The game has good gun play and rewards not just squads but entire teams if they actually work together.
