Super fun especially with friends, but there's at least one cheater in every show, so it's not recommended right now. Hoping the devs would make more immediate and transparent action on this than letting them finish the show.

10/10 Totally recommended if your girlfriend asked you to play it with her, and you don't want to lose her.

Early Access Review
Bought my cheap first car and I could already feel the speed and the thrill. I love how you could turn everything off from the HUD: no timers, no course progress bars and maps, and no on-screen directions. Then, not knowing how far you are along the course, you'd rely on your co-driver's voice, not understand what the hell the last 10 pacenotes he mumbled were, and ride a crest onto a tree.

19 minutes more and I can't refund this game... but I won't. Best rallying simulation game since my PlayStation days, and I hope it will only become better.

As a casual fighting game newbie, I can say it's a good entry game for the genre. I've played some other fighting games before and the difficulty is just too high even on normal modes. DOA5LR starts you off slowly and has a pretty good slope to climb up on, so it let me play right away without getting frustrated.

I think the developers kinda set the bar high for the minimum and recommended specs, too. I'm playing this on a laptop with a mid-range graphics processor, and it's running pretty smoothly especially on fullscreen even on 1080p. I've encountered a few frame rate drops on windowed, but I was running two screens with a lot of open windows at that time too.

Extremely disappointed that they didn't port the current gen console version (PS4) properly though. No Steam Cloud support and Steam Achievements as well. I'm hoping they still add those, the missing levels and effects in a patch soon, but as Team Ninja's too lazy with the PC port, I can only wait...again.

In its current state, I will only recommend getting this on a sale that's even cheaper than the current 10% off, but if you're single and lonely... ¯\(°_o)/¯

Updated as my first playthrough is finished.

So here's a breakdown:

Gameplay
Feels like living an episode of South Park (or a dozen; it doesn't end that quickly)
Plenty of room for exploration, not too much that it's tiring either
Achievements and different classes offer a bit of replay value
Farting is an actual gameplay mechanic
You could poop on a urinal

Story
Hilarious script even for a non-follower of the TV series' recent seasons
± My first play-through is more than 22 hours at 50% achievements completion; not too short, but I want more!

Controls
Full controller support (I use Xbox 360 Wireless)
Dedicated controls for farting

Graphics
2D graphics mimic TV experience
Easy to configure options: Fullscreen/Windowed and Screen Resolution
Nvidia GeForce Experience actually supports "game optimization" LOL
Seriously, you could probably play this on a toaster (or a ♥♥♥♥ty laptop)
− 30 FPS for a cinematic experience (duh, published by Ubisoft)

Audio
Nice soundtrack
Voice acting is spot-on, of course (I won't spoil the ending, but the cameo was glorious!)
Fart sounds are authentic (I tested; can confirm)

Miscellaneous
No Uplay!
− Game saves are kinda confusing: You could save game at any time between cutscenes, but only last checkpoint is saved with no real indication of what counts as a checkpoint.

I haven't been following the series in a long time, so I'm pretty sure a lot of inside jokes and references are lost on me, but I'm still having fun with all that's happening in the game. If you like South Park humor and love RPGs, then there's no question about getting this game. You get to play as a new kid in South Park, and as a new kid, you get to role-play with your friends. It's an RPG within an RPG!

Overall rating
69/10 …supposed to give 70, but I can't play it around kids. :(

Die in battle? Get resurrected.

Die in a movie? Get dumped into the stream.

10/10 I cry every time.

This is a survival/strategy game in the guise of an immigration officer simulation game. It's more a test of character and principles than attention to detail.

This is not much of a game, but a wonderfully crafted short story. It incorporates a bit of RPG and puzzle elements, but the story is what you'd be going for. Reading other reviews had me expecting a sad feeling overall, as a lot of people claimed to have cried from this--I didn't, but I'm not disappointed at all. It does have some sad elements, but my feelings and memory are more attached to the mystery, intrigue (and confusion), the triumphs and the bit of humor in it.

Totally recommended for those wanting to go on a feels trip.
