Blackjack; except it's a shockingly interesting Roguelike.

This game requires installing a component from the Epic Games Store, and making an Epic account to play online. This was not disclosed at time of release. Steam page had been updated only after the initial release to reveal this information.

I strongly recommend avoiding this game until the Epic component gets removed from the game. I refunded this game as soon as I saw the requirement in-game, and then used Revo Uninstaller to make sure both Epic and this game had been 100% removed from my PC.

This review is not for commenting on the game. It is for praise for a choice Sony has made. They elected to avoid imposing PSN account requirements for Steam users, and it is much appreciated. Here's a thumbs up. Have a good day.

Edit: I have changed my review to negative because Sony has not yet removed purchasing restrictions from Countries that don't have access to PSN. Based on this, expecting Sony to try again with enforcing an account linking requirement. I will change my review back to positive when sale of the game is no longer restricted from being sold in said countries.

Since my perception of the game has changed, I'm writing a new review.

Previously, I had strongly disliked this game, partly because of things such as the interface being dramatically different from that of League of Legends. However, now that I've played more and with a little bit of guidance from some friends, I find the game more enjoyable than before.

This game is much like League of legends, but with a few key differences, such as different items, different champions, different interface, as well as the requirement of needing a town portal scroll instead of being able to teleport home at any time. I also feel that Dota 2 is far more balanced than Leauge of Legends, since Dota 2 doesn't have the capacity of allowing champions to suddenly become extremely broken after a ton of items are acquired. (AKA, running into a tower and quickly tearing it to pieces completely solo without outside help.)

I got this game purely on the suggestion of one of my teachers in High School, and I was definitely not disappointed with the experince.

I really want to write a full review of this game, but I don't want to spoil ANYTHING that is within it. All I'll say is that you have to play this game and see a dark and telling story that no other shooter will show. I would recommend that anyone play this amazing piece of work. I rate this 11/10, because it's one of the best games I've ever played. This is one of the few experinces I would pay 60 bucks for.

This is amazing for a game that was all done by one person (excluding voice acting, of course). The atmosphere is rather breathtaking. The dialoge is rather entertaining to listen to (usually). The story is amazing. (almost) everything about this game is great! Worth a shot for those who like old-style beat-em-up games... except in this case, this game re-invented what it means to play a sidescroller.
