Truly a masterpiece in design and over-the-top delivery in showcasing Chinese mythology.
The combat system is deeply satisfying, blending traditional hack-and-slash mechanics along with a very unique ability "Transformation", which allows you to take on the form of powerful foes. Each boss fight is vastly different and very fun to play against. The final climax towards the end of the game is absolutely phenomenal and I am in love with how well it was executed (sequence of integrated-cutscenes with playability as the MC).

I believe this game will receive GOTY for sure.

Here"s my take on the game - its actually phenomenal on how much effort the devs have put into making cinematic / drama along with a hoard of narration and backstory via "lorestones".

Long story short, the game revolves around Senua (the warrior women) who goes on a huge psychosis and PTSD rant to oppose her father who claims her psychosis problem as a "curse" given by the Gods of the Norse era and all hell was let loose because Senua and her mother were still alive and thriving with so called "darkness". Senua is weirdly a badass character, if only there wasn"t so much whisper crap from the voices that constantly gives you an ear ra*e. She then journeys with a decapitated head belonging to Dillon (her husband who was already dead) to try and find Dillon because apparently daddy had "hidden" him from Senua. Not sure if the intention was to "revive" him or was it because of Senua"s illness but apparently thats the whole point of the game where she went on a murder spree to finally give up and face reality that her memories were altered / forgotten due to her psychosis problem.

The cool parts were she would go between dimensions (much like the portal game) to face off against the "darkness" and the parry was oddly satisfying. The HUD limitations really gave a in-depth experience to the combat system. I would have definitely enjoyed more variety combat if only it wasn"t so braindead spam all attack buttons and then decide to either parry or evade. The "focus" part was quite interesting but OP, considering how you practically freeze time and exploit the system into killing bosses easily.

All things considered, the devs did not think much about skipping cinematics, custom save points, traversal being absurdly slow and constant noise pollution from all the whispering slapped onto narration. Lorestones ... man those stupid runes are a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ headache to get because the unlocking sequence of the runes within the lorestones are linear, rather than indicating what rune was missed out in-between; hence the chads who put out locations guides to get these lorestones for the sake of achievement would have to be thoroughly analysed by the player. They would have no choice but to remember roughly on what they missed out (ofcourse getting it done through a Save Manager would work but you would miss out on the backstory given by these lorestones)

I don"t really care. The game is just another meh with EA servers.

Edit: I take it back. This is worse than Satan"s graveyard. The new MW3 is by far the worse a corporate can take with greed and cost cutting. Its appalling how activision has the audacity to charge a full game"s price for a DLC.

Game was unstable at the time I bought the game. When the game is actually optimised, they put it up for F2P.
There are more bots in this game in comparison to a twitch thot"s OF follower count.
Not even worth playing this game anymore.

P.S. KRAFTON, I would like my money back.

Hard, ambient, unique and highly skill based.
I am glad I got another dank souls game :D

P.S. Still got a long way to go with this game

Your Anti-Cheat is a joke. Your Asian server is a joke.
What are the developers even doing?? I bought your season 2 and 3 battle pass ... where does all your money go??

When will your useless game ever come out of Beta.

Overall: Despite all the cool stuff ...Fix your stupid game. It"s been like this since Epic Games and you want to expand with that scummy anti-cheat engine and unoptimised servers.

Early Access Review
I am still learning how to properly play the game but I love the fact that there is always a constant fear being instilled upon the players. Absolutely one of the best games to prank friends until they are ♥♥♥♥-scared.

Despite it"s release onto the mobile platform, I feel that Nekki team makes the best physics (+parkour) related games. Their groundbreaking development of Vector years ago is still of high value till date and I am still a big fan of their "shadow" genre. (I kinda bought this game twice anyway - mobile and pc)

Eitherway, in regards to gameplay, really simple straightforward mechanics of horizontal and vertical directional considerations. The reason why I would recommend this game is because of it"s parkour, stunts and the inconsistencies in jump patterns, i.e., certain heights and initial jump actually generate different landing postures, which always pose a challenge when trying to get points.

In addition to the "Classic" mode, the extra "Hunter" mode was also fascinating to play (inclusive of the fact there are actually cube points and tricks performed in both modes). I was constantly having the urge to try and achieve 3 stars in all maps.

A really nice game with a great concept. The story is great with a whole lot of collectables giving an insight to side stories around Ronan (mc). However, I feel the ending is a bit rushed (and artificial) and I didn"t feel like there was any actually climax. The game does have a lot of bugs and requires you to run rampant just to spot certain artifacts.
Overall = Objective based exploration, riddle solving and minimalistic strategy and demon hunting.

For a game the size of barely a GB, the amount of surprises and the impending feel of rushing towards the end (provided that there are many tricks and traps), is phenomenal.
Developers, hats-off to you for making a game of such a calibre. Absolutely beautiful, creative and mind-blowing.
