It's a fine enough game.

There's some issues I'm having, and It doesn't seem like they'll be addressed.

You have one trash can on the entire map. It acts like a black hole, sucking up trash as it's dropped elsewhere. But once it's fully, which doesn't take long at all, trash is dropped all over the parking garage. Mid to late game, the hired on cleaner can't keep up.

When you hire help you can only hire one person per role. One security guard, one cleaner, you get it. When you're mid to late game the security guard can't keep up. Nor can the cleaner if you have even a single vending machine or hot dog vendor set up.

But the upgrades progression feels.. Comfortable. I don't like that there's no upgrade to you, the player character. Only being able to carry four parking space awnings isn't a challenge, it's a time sink. Having a weight limit at all feels pointless. If there was a way to upgrade your physical abilities, like walking speed and carrying capacity, the limit would at least have a function. At the moment it's just something to live with.

At a certain point your wealth out progresses everything else. Not a bad thing, the goal is to make money. But some other upgrades to fill out what you can do would be nice. Like an autopay gate so drivers don't have to pause to pay a ticket fee. The ability to hire on more help, like 2, 3, or 10 cleaners/security guards each shift to keep up with the size of our parking structure.

More of a minor annoyance, but street lights need to have their collision turned off for now. Cars on the upper deck will slam into them and cause a huge pileup if you're not paying attention or idling the game. There's a lot of jank issues with vehicles but most don't cause permanent pileups that the player has to address.

For some suggestions as a player who loves the game; Fences might be better used to funnel baddies instead of being something they have to drop kick to get through. Then a single security guard would make sense, and would be worth having on the payroll. He could stand guard at a pedestrian entrance so bad folks never make it in. Could make the security guard much more expensive then as well.

Being able to upgrade or add more trash cans would be a treat. But that seems to be a common request amongst players and I don't know if coding that would break something or cause other issues. So I'll assume it's something that might be getting work on. Trash is just so annoying, and like with the carry weight. Not really a challenge.

If we had more ways of dealing with trash then I think our 'popularity' could scale the amount of cars that would want to park in our garage. So in late game you would have a reason to hire a cleaner(s) to keep you popularity high and cars moving through.

Small aside, maybe porters could have another function. Once you get the automatic gate there's no sense in keeping them around. But if they somehow were able to manually fix car pileups or assist with security or cleaning they'd be worth hiring in the mid to late game.

There's Z fighting near the back of the property between the ramps to the lower level that's a bit of an eye sore. Sometimes the security guard will get frozen in place, which is frustrating. Though the next shift guard still arrives so it's not a permanent issue.

Overall a 6/10 game. I love playing it as a low stress simulation type game. I think $13 is a pretty tough sell given the issues listed above but if development, bug fixes, and support continues it can easily be a 9/10 from me.

It looks jank, runs kinda jank, but mods are nice and there's no other game like it. Anywhere. And the Dev is a sweetheart <3 He put his heart and soul into it.

A very solid tower defense game with fun quotes by the monsters and a massive branching tech tree. What's not to love?

Some mechanics are daunting but there's plenty of helpful resources on youtube.

Straightforward survival sim, but with the massive mod support it can be whatever game you want. Zombies, integrated extra factions, you name it. Look into mod packs some creators have put together, it can massively overhaul your gaming experience.

I've put many hours in and will likely put in many hours more.

The DLC is unnecessary.
And very, very overpriced for what you get.

The new update shot my game in the head. I only got seven hours out of it and now it won't get to the menu.

I loved what I played but I guess I wasn't meant to finish it.

So far so fun.

It combines Hearthstone elements with a fun
top down arcadey-tower-defense type feel.

It's good to relax and play, I wouldn't suggest
taking it too incredibly seriously until you
get pretty high up in the ranks.

I've jumped through all the hoops. I've tried fixing the Player2 folder fix, launching in safemode. Reinstalling twice. Checking that all my drivers are up to date. And it still gives me the ' out of memory ' (12) error. I guess Steam just sells broken trash now. I was excited to play the MW single player again.

Don't buy. Ever. They've had the same issues since 2016 and they refuse to fix em.

Broken.

It's almost required you play with mods, even just to update the textures and processing. Or it makes your rig nice and toasty. But at random they update just enough stuff to break all your mods. So, good luck with that. I gave up after the third update. Reloading and organizing and updating everything wears on you. If you pick out, download, and work with mods more than you play, well.. What's the point of playing. My only gripe is, as Ive said, they update just enough to break everything.

Makes me wonder if they're doing it maliciously. Cause you know they're not actually fixing their game.
