Great game, but tough. It's old-school style, lots of back and forth, you need to listen to the logs, read things carefully, etc... etc... they don't make games tough like this anymore. Graphics are modern but reflect back to the original game. All in all, really an acquired taste, not the easiest thing to get into, but quite satisfying once you do finish it.

An improvement on the previous release in many ways, particularly combat, although I did find some of the levels in the early Doom release more interesting due to their sci-fi lab look. Runs REALLY well, VERY smooth, it just feels so optimised, and I can't think of any real issue or crashes.

Not a bad follow-up to the original DI and Riptide. I think I might prefer the islands in the original game more, than LA in this game, but I also think the weapon-play has been improved, and there's good missions all around. Not a single crash in 50h of game time.

Really enjoyed myself with the campaign. The story is sometimes quite funny with the protagonist talking to himself and to the dog, and I love recharging the shotgun. The minigun is tons of fun, and overall I VASTLY prefer this over their other game, After the Fall. I'm not too much for multiplayer games, so while the campaign was kind of short, it had enough surprises for me, and I'm quite honestly happy with some games not taking 200 hours of your time just to get the overall picture. I'll be revisiting this game in the future, on a harder difficulty. That's for sure. No major glitches I can think of, typical VR things to look out for, and fairly easy to get most of the achievements for those who it matters.

I like the levels, the action is good, lots of weapon variety, and new DLCs still get released! The game however is a real grind if you want to level up your weapons and characters. In nearly 80 hours of gameplay, I'm only a level 220 account (out of a possible 999 I think), and only half of my characters are at level 30 (one which I already reset once). If you're the kind that loves to grind and max out everyone and every item, you'll likely easily get 500 hours of playtime out of this game.

A pretty good game with a solid story, if rather linear. Then again, sometimes it's nice to play a game where you're not just dumped in the middle of a massive map with hundreds of quests and told to figure it out. Graphics are very nice with this remake, facial expressions wonderful. Not too sure about replay value now that I've experienced the story, but for those who wish to 100% it with the collectibles, I could see myself running through it again in the future. But probably just once. I did not purchase this game when it first came out, I got it on a Steam sale and by then I believe most serious bugs were squashed. In 20 hours of gameplay only once did the game experience an issue when I chose to spin around on a horse while on a steep staircase. I think the game didn't like that for some reason. If you like story driven games with action that's not quite too complicated and some simpler puzzles, this does very well.

I only played the single player campaign and truly enjoyed the action and story. It's not too complicated per-se, but there's enough tactics to be had with the pilot and titan interaction. Story is short, took me 7 hours (with the occasional death), and I'm sure many can finish it in 5 hours or even less. But if you're not looking for something that requires a ton of investment and like to play shorter single-player shooters such as CoD for their story and then you put the game aside (and don't bother with multi-player), then it's worth getting especially if on sale (which I heard sometimes approached about five bucks or so). It's quite pretty too, and I had no technical difficulties. Editing the config file even allowed my dual 4K resolution to work at 7680x2160.

Unfortunately it comes with the EA launcher which I uninstalled immediately after finishing, and uninstalling the game. Almost willing to give it a thumbs down because of that.

I was already a fan of the original Dead Space, having finished it on both Xbox and PC. The changes made in the remake are good, and I really enjoyed one more run through USS Ishimura. Some people report stutters, but my (very beefy) PC had no problems and I only experienced an occasional hitch, but nothing that made the game unbearable to play. All in all, as with the original DS, this game gets a solid thumbs up from me.

Yeah, I really like this game. Steam says I played ~200 hours (at the time of writing this), and my save with the highest number of hours says I played ~120 hours (having chosen my preferred endings in the DLC and main game to get this). The gap comes from having done some experimentation, trying out every single ending, and getting every achievement.
There's been some funny bugs, NPCs might walk through a car, drink from 'invisible' bottles, or lack shadows underneath them, and whilst I originally purchased the game 3 years ago, it's only in the past few months that I went all-in having done a considerably upgrade to my PC. Last I checked, with most ray-tracing features on and a bit of help from DLSS, my RTX 4090 could do 70 FPS on my Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 (7680x2160). I know of the negative reviews on release due to major bugs, I guess it helps I started playing right when Phantom Liberty dropped, as I was not disappointed. 10/10, will play again.

Really good game, just a LOT of quests and missions (I did over 720 before I finally decided to stop playing this game, some of them can be quite repetitive, and some never end, they can be started over and over). Anyway, I can see what all the fuss is about, and I enjoyed my 150 hours of game time. So much to do, and the DLCs add even more to this. Definitely can get your moneys worth.
