Absolutely wonderful title from a small, but dedicated development team. I really enjoy the direction Griffin has taken with this project, and I can't wait to see where it goes from here. Being early access, the gameplay can be buggy here and there, and the AI leaves a bit to be desired, but it is continually being improved and I urge patience from the critics who are quick to dismiss this title because of the lack of robust tutorial content and "homework" required to figure out how to really play and deploy the different units effectively. These are all things that are on the roadmap and are being addressed. Indeed, many of the negative reviews are outdated now due to the feverish pace of development.

All in all, I think this is a title that is definitely worth a shot. Being free to play gives you very little to lose in trying it out. Of course, if you're not happy with it in its present state, consider waiting a while before leaving a negative review. Try it again in a month or two, after some more updates have a chance to roll out.

I have yet to try multiplayer, which is a shame because I think this game would be even more fun against humans. But the new AI difficulty settings have increased the replayability and kept me in the game for longer. The campaign tweaks are something I am very much looking forward to, as well.

All in all, a great game by a great history content creator, and something the strategy gameverse has desperately needed for a long time.

Everything you've ever wanted in a U-boat sim and more. This is the U-boat sim of all U-boat sims. Don't even wait for it to go on sale, they deserve every penny they're asking for. This early access title shows so much promise. If you're like me and grew up on stuff like Aces of the Deep, you will cream your pants when you start playing this game.

It still manages to be fun once in a while.

Hands down the pacesetter for all tactical shooting simulators. An active and vibrant mod community helps enable a variety of gameplay types. Whether you're a casual gamer, role player, or hardcore milsimmer, there is something for you here.
