Nuclear Throne when you first start is brutal and unforgiving, and as you figure out the movement, your favorite weapon combos, and perks, you'll start to see your own skill and knowledge pay off. Speeding through levels, placing bullets and rockets perfectly, slipping around enemy projectiles, and decimating bosses with the most powerful guns on your way to the throne gives a feeling of power and mastery that most other games can't pull off.

While some of the more overpowered weapons can do a lot of the work for you, if you aren't good at the game, you won't see much success, but that's what makes the game so rewarding. With minimal perks and items, your skill is the only thing you can truly rely on, and that is Nuclear Throne's true brilliance.
