It was every bit of fun and chillaxing I was expecting. It may feel simple and barebones to some but that"s part of the charm - simple and enjoyable - it"s SO MUCH FUN.

For two cups of fancy coffee you get endless hours of creativity and relaxing build mode.
I"ve only played for 2 hours and it"s already enchanted me because it"s so simple and easy to get into and it sctratches that building and landscaping itch perfectly. It"s not overbearing and overwhelming like building in Sims or making mods for Skyrim for example.

It"s Fallout with friends, what"s not to like?

I worked on it so I can totally recommend it with no biased opinions of any kind.

Having a lot of fun with both single and multiplayer!
Some issues with multiplayer disconnecting randomly a few times, but mostly very enjoyable.
Didn"t get very far in the story yet, but I love the characters and their backgrounds, there"s so much cool lore in the game, things to find while exploring, and the team has some cool chatter when there"s more players around.

The skill trees and abilities are interesting but not too complicated, and the gameplay with guns feels entertaining and fun. Headshots are extremely gratifying. There"s plenty to choose from with equipment, skins and playstyle. The world is cool and there"s so much to explore!

Game looks gorgeous and runs great at constant 60 frames on a Win10/Ryzen 9/RTX3080 on Ultra video settings. Some funny graphical issues here and there with shadows and some effect shaders, but I didn"t encounter anything game breaking or actually buggy that would"ve stopped me from enjoying the game.

Main issues:
- Shadows look blocky, pixeley and atrociously silly even on Epic quality setting and it takes away from the otherwise gorgeous aesthetic. Maybe some shortcuts were taken to get the game running smoothly before launch day? :3
- Sometimes vampires just, like blank out. They"re there, floating, but they don"t have a collision and they don"t aggro so you can just walk up to them and admire them :D
- Occasional disconnects in co-op

All in all, the game definitely needs a bit of patching and an extra 6 months of polish, but it"s clearly lovingly crafted and a lot of fun both solo and co-op! If you"re going in with just wanting to have some fun and not get too serious, and not with a mindset of trying to find absolutely everything that is wrong with this game, you"re gonna enjoy it, especially if you like Arkane"s worlds and "shooterlooter" games.

People slamming the game in the reviews haven"t actually tried playing it or giving it a chance. Sure, the 70 € price tag is pretty damn steep, but I feel like I could get my money"s worth with this game. The negativity around this release is mostly unfounded and getting way out of hands.

i guess its ok

As someone who treasures NPCs, their backstories and my conversations with them, I got so into this game. The voice acting quality is great, the game is gorgeous and ran beautifully on my oldish gaming PC.

I am still getting through it, and after 5 hours, I feel like I"ve only scratched the surface.
