Sucks that this game was such a disappointment, been waiting for this for a very long time after hearing of it originally all those years ago. Besides the game being online only with servers crashing constantly and not being able to back out of being readied up not being able to stick around in lobbies after a heist is done, the UI is very-not-good, even worse than payday 2 which at least later on had everything on one screen.

The heists themselves feel a lot more akin to Payday: The Heist's layout and how short they could be, albeit this is just the first couple of heists they have a little bit more going on than the second game's original maps, the one big thing I've noticed that's missing from them is a lot of the random events that made older heists so enjoyable to play through over and over again. I'm missing out on a lot of things that are better explained by other people but, yeah, just wait to get this on sale later on whenever this game gets more love and care.

This game really deserves the dx12/vulkan treatment even if it could be produce diminishing returns, maybe as an option for certain people and not forced?? Like most things if it's a clientside option it should be, AN OPTION??? I'd love to use the old alpha music and the hud with the tilt, that'd be awesome.

I used to play this when I was younger, it's still a fun game (yes, even with the mid age men who run the servers who think they're right about everything). Just don't play for too long- this game is draining on your soul if you don't play the braindead classes. Since the game has been left for dead for a very long time by Valve the hitboxes, netcode, everything about this game has and will never be changed/fixed in a loooong time, asides from there being not too many European servers you'll also get a ton of people with over 200 ping shooting you through walls constantly.
So yeah, have fun.
edit: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ how much did they ♥♥♥♥ up riflemen in this game they're so useless compared to automatic weapons, man remember when dod 3.1 and release actually had it so automatic weapons were absolutely useless at range haha :)))))) oh of course most people that play this game dont because of the brainrot they have from playing those classes in the source version like jesus christ where is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ RECOIL

I think I have the most kills in either the grease gun or road-kills in jeeps, it's fun.
