Absolute Co-op masterclass.
The most fun, most intense co-op shooter of the last decade, with stable connection, unlike some other titles.
After the 60 days of updates the game really feels new, finished and better then ever, for both new and returning players.
Comparing it to Helldivers 1, Arrowhead improved, upgraded and perfected every aspect of the game, and did it without dozens of DLC packs, unlike in the first game.

Awesome soundtrack, awful leveling, don't forget it's online only

It's hard to give this game a thumbs up, but it doesn't deserve a thumbs down.
Just like the previous entries, Payday 3 is as much fun with your friends as it gets. The gunplay is amazing, Gustavo Coutinhos' tracks are great. UE4 is a great choice, and the grittier design works for me.
But between the bugs, and the awful infamy system, I just can't see people having thousands of hours of co-op fun, like with Payday 2.
As a lvl 75 player, I can confidently tell you, the lvl system is as bad as people say. Believe them.
Here's hoping the upcoming QoL updates fix the game, before the loyal fans give up on it, and maybe I can update this review on next years Steam Awards.

One of the best sim games out there. Certainly my most played simulator.
It's really as relaxing as people say it is. The exploration aspect is great, cause the map is really realistic and captures every countries' roads and feeling. The company building is awesome, you can really put many hours into that one thing alone. The truck customization is great, but you need DLCs (or mods) to really do it. So it could be better. But all in all a solid experience and a time well spent.

This is a perfect game if you want an easy RPG with a bit of thinking, that you can play with a non-gamer significant other or child. Split-screen is a huge bonus.
DLCs could be a bit cheaper, but a strong 8/10 nonetheless.

Always wanted to see how a human dictatorship could purge the galaxy from lesser beings.

I've always wanted to slide around in Afghanistan with a cardboard box.
10/10 Gameplay and Fun. Would run through the African plains in a Raiden armor and a best of 80s walkman mixtape again.
And if you want a 100% savegame, boy do you have a journey ahead of you.
Also there's a multiplayer element somewhere, other than invading rival players' FOBs.

Edit: After 9 years with this game, I can confidently say, I've still lost no enthusiasm neither towards the gameplay nor towards the amazing music.
After countless occasions, where Overkill said they would no longer support the game, they always came through with new ideas, to keep the community entertained and playing.
Really a labor of love, and the maximum effort one can make out of an old racing game engine.
Year after year I invite new friends to the game, and they always take a liking to it, sooner or later.
DLCs are getting better and better, and the game ages like wine.
10/10.
