This game goes so hard, grindset never stops

I hope this game gets DLC, it has so much potential and I'm enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would. 7/10

Emily is Away <3 is an excellent time machine, and third in the series by creator Kyle Seeley. The music mentioned in the game sets the tone for the year that the game is based in, and it transports me to a time where I experienced very similar narrative happenings. During my teen years, a memorable vibe of my life was going back home after school and talking to my friends on social media apps like Facebook, Kik and Google .

It's surreal to experience something like that in a game a decade later, with people that don't even exist! Simple things like texting 2 people at the same time really quickly in (not so)tense situations with potential interpersonal consequences are what make this game so immersive.

I'd never have thought that such a mundane aspect of life would be so significant to me all these years later, and I have this series to thank for it!

I just really wish there were more games like these.

Nostalgia is a hell of a thing.

Most fun I've had in a multiplayer game in years, and it's not even close.
