This isn't my usual genre of game, but man has it left an impact on me. I played this game nearly two years ago and despite playing hundreds of games since then, this one is the one that comes back to me the most. The music still gets me emotional, reminding me of the story and characters and how much I miss them. Amazing game.

Great game that juggles exploration and your natural curiosity.

There's just not enough meat on the bones. The writing/story is lackluster because characterization doesn't really take place, making story beats feel impactless, and the combat is too repetitive to justify the near 30-hour commitment. Disappointing from all the good reviews this game is getting

So far its a very intuitive and fun action RPG, with puzzle elements. I've played a fair share of these games, and this one ranks pretty high in terms of QoL features and polishing!

Works perfectly if you want moving wallpapers

The movement is precise and satisfying. The levels may seem difficult at first, but the game has a great learning curve that helps any new player get adjusted to its simple mechanics.

Basically you cry your eyes out, then appreciate the really good storytelling.

The gameplay itself is lackluster, be warned that this game is about 90% visual novel and 10% gameplay, if that.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? If you enjoy a story-rich adventure with notable AND lovable characters (including and even relying on the enemies as well), then you'll love what UNDERTALE has to offer.

This game is really good, but is a bit of a weird niche. If the aesthetic, music, or story jump out to you from the trailers, its definitely up your alley and you should give it a try!
