I really believe that the hate for this game, was just due to the popularity of hating on bethesda at the time. Sure yea they made their share of mistakes and you can forgive em or not for that bag, but this is actually a fun fallout. Bethesda does what they do best, and worldbuilds the heck out of the game. Having played on and of since the start the worlds changed and evolved so nicely. One of the few fallouts i can come play daily, passively or engaged its enjoyable.

I really like the camp feature in this game as well, i love slowly building and learning new stuff. Its a progressive limitation, like first i start out with a ♥♥♥♥ shack, slowly building it into a nice cabin, then i find more and more plans, unlock enough atoms to get some cool stuff through passive play (Not alot to keep the atom store CONSTANTLY free sadly) , and just slowly my rundown shack turns into a military outpost with my own little world building.

I just hope the future of this game takes us through fallout. Say we get abducted by aliens and sent to appalachia during the events of fallout 3 at level 100 some, or we have a PVP event for the Enclave oilship fight, just being bystanders to the events of the main games but dealing with the consequences. Maybe even have multiple starts possible at a point, someone from Vault 76 before the war, someone born there, someone from the Pitt, someone from out west. Just a little more character roleplay/personal lore.

Actual effort went into this game... Why, i dont know, but it was definitly worked on.

The “half life” of vr games. Boneworks defines the genre, and is one of the first to truly utilize current hardware to its best possible games. Boneworks is the FIRST virtual reality game I suggest.

If you had trouble getting into a fromsoft game before, this game fixes that. I"ve tried nearly every one and just got distracted and didn"t end up playing them, while this genuinely pulled me in. Like if Darksouls had met Breath of The Wild but a million times more expansive.

After 230 hours of trying to get this game to work i give up. All i can do is launch, download, and exit to desktop when its done downloading. Absolutely ridiculous setup for a game, i can"t even refund this POS because it installs THROUGH the game. Real smart scam going on here by the devs it seems. Year two of trying to play this game and being unable to.

Among Us was the first game in a long time that got me into online multiplayer again. Congrats on the awards devs, you"ve earned every single one in my opinion (I play alot of Among Us on another account that i use.)

Easily one of the best VR games i"ve encountered. Most other games feel like a tech-demo at times showing off one really good thing that they do well, like guns in "Hotdogs horseshoes and handgrenades", or the physics and fighting in blade and sorcery (What i will call the second or third best VR game on the market as of now, competing with Boneworks)

Half life Alyx is an actual VR game, where others before have failed Half life provides a great re-introduction into Valve games, and on top of that shows that the VR gaming market has so much more potential. Like Half Life 1 making 3D FPS games popular, or half life 2 redefining gaming, Half Life Alyx is the starting point.

If you have a headset already then this game is a MUST. However if you don"t have one, should you get a headset just to play this game? No, however Half Life alyx is the cherry on top of the cake when it comes to VR. Play it at a friends house with VR, or just buy your own headset and get in there.

PC Specifications: I honestly thought this game would be more demanding with how beautiful it is, and how great the physics are. I can comfortably play this with an I5-3450, 8gb of ram, and a 1050 TI graphics card. I ran through all the other settings and didnt notice much of a problem playing, however i do have to say that i dont get motion sickness so anything that could affect me (like low FPS, or stuttering that only happens when i first load in) isnt being accounted for.

Well, I"m sure the DLC is great, But i can"t even play it. Every time i try and load a save, or make a new one my game crashes (without any assets or mods). My system specs exceed the recommended specifications, yet this game crashes not only itself, but Steam, and almost my whole computer. The great part is apparently i can"t even get a refund because i have more than 8 hours *playing* this game. I guess that"s my fault for trying to make this work rather than instantly refunding it 10 days ago. I am so disappointed.

EDIT: Also, forgot to mention, that ANY time i tried to load a save or make a new map it would freeze my PC for 10+ minutes at a time. I would be forced to wait it out because if i did anything it would crash my PC.

It starts out innocent. Then it turns for the dark. GOTY

Started it up, Recommended Ultra Graphics. 10/10 would start up again.
