One of the best action roguelikes on the market. If you"re a fan of frantic fast paced fps gameplay such as Quake or DOOM, this game is for you. One of the only roguelikes that is fun solo or with buddies.

Every time I close this game my ears ring for the next 30 minutes. It"s ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing.

As a major fan of the new remade DOOM games, this game checks almost every box. It"s fast, it"s got weapon switching, it"s got a badass sword, it"s got a talking skull companion narrator who doesn"t talk enough. (A rare trait in voiced video game characters)

A must buy if you love FPS games and heavy metal music, and weaving them together like some sort of hellsinging freak.

One of the best, most immersive single player FPS"s ever made.
Chunky weapons, badass powers called plasmids, with combos between every plasmid and weapon.

Graphics are dated, but still hold up pretty decently, especially with the remaster. This game"s lighting, reflections and water were unparalleled when it first came out.

I"ve played through Bioshock probably 4-5 times now over the years and every time I re-install and get started, the immersion takes over and makes me want to explore every nook and cranny of this spooky world. Very recommended for people who like immersive shooters.

Not even mentioning the character building mechanics with gene tonics, which can make your character play completely differently with one visit to the gene bank.

If you"ve got a boomer 19th century America fetish, or you like Fallout, then this game will also tickle your fancy, nothing more creepy and aesthetic than skulking around in a cocktail lounge that"s playing distorted swing music while splicers are talking to themselves all around you.
