Really captures that Aliens feel and atmosphere. Both visually and auditory. Tense combat situations and engaging game play make this one a joy to play. If you're a fan of the franchise and/or enjoy tactical real-time strategy games then this is a must play.

Core Game
----------
If you loved previous Deus Ex games you are going to love this one.
It builds upon DE:HR and adds some of the feel of the original Deus Ex in terms of exploration and discovering interesting side stories and secrets. The core gameplay is more fluent and tighter in every single way with fun new Augs to play with.

As it stands there are a lot of negative reviews on steam but I do advise to take them with a pinch of salt and make up your own mind whether or not this game is for you. Like I said the core game experience is very much on point.

Performance
------------
For me the game is running like a dream and I have had 0 performance issues.
It is getting harder to support all pc system configurations these days so in case you are having issues I'm sure the devs will do their best to fix it with the data you provide them.

The controls feel tight and responsive but can take some getting used to in the first 10 minutes or so. Everything can be customized to your liking and it is advised to tweak the mouse sensitivity to something that works for you as the default setting is way to sensitive for most players.

MICROTRANSACTIONS AND DLC
--------------------------
As for the microtransaction and DLC "issue". To be honest I only noticed there were microtransactions after everybody started complaining about it. If you don't like it, don't use it.
It has absolutely no impact on the core game. Developers track data on how much those things get bought. If people stop using those features then developers will stop adding them. But as long as people do buy them ... .
I notice a lot of people not recommending the game because of this even though they are loving the core experience. Personally I would love to see more Deus Ex in the future and if you would like to as well I suggest you ignore the Microtransactions and DLC for now and just let it be heared to SE instead of writing of the game based on some secondary OPTIONAL features.

One thing I do hope they patch though is the fact that Pre-purchase, DLC and Deus Ex Go unlocks are limited to a single save. That stuff is just plain stupid but should be easily fixable. So I do hope that they consider adjusting this.

MOBILE APP
-----------
Deus Ex: MD supports a mobile companion app on both Android and IOS. It allows you to read mails, Ebooks, track player stats and read up on the Deus Ex Universe on your mobile device. Throughout the game you can also find hidden collectables that can be scanned using the app to unlock behind the scenes interviews and insights about the making of the game.
This is a nice touch, works well and is a fun out of game interaction. It does however require you to have a Square Enix account so if you're not into that than this could frustrate you as there is no ingame way to access the making of content. In my case I allready account so this was more of a pleasant little addition to the game. Again this is fully optional and you are in no way required or forced to create an account if you don't want to.

OVERALL
--------
Great game, good fun and a worthy follow up to Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Worth the purchase, just ignore the Microtransactions and DLC untill they are no longer single save only if you want to purchase DLC to begin with.

One of my all time favorites!!
Even 14 years after original release I still find myself playing this game on every platform I can get a hold of this gem. It took the good from the first game and made it even better. Fun, filled with atmosphere, challenging, funny, exciting, rewarding, timeless.
Pure interactive entertainment <3

O, and one more thing...Exploding farts. Nuf said.

Fun multiplayer that took inspiration from games like tribes and halo. Fast paced, point based action with some strategy added on top of it. The singleplayer isn't the main focus of this game and there are some balance issues between players with highlevel unlocks and new players with lowlevel unlocks.

Had more fun with Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath than many other game that came out in the past few years!! Originally created as one of the last original Xbox games, Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath still looks great and succesfully combines excellent critter shooting fps with platforming.
Just Add Water did a great job at bringing this game to pc and did more than your general run of the mill HD ports. New character models, texture upgrades, concept art unlocks, achievements, the works.
PLAY THIS GAME. You won't regret it!

Amazing game that takes elements from the Metal Gear Solid series, combines them with the superb covermechanics from Splinter Cell Conviction topped of with great environments filled with exploration. All the good elements from the original deus ex game are there but in a more enjoyable and moderne package.

Tower defense but not as you know it. Highly addictive and can be quite challenging should you research the wrong stuff:)
