Isn't doing a bait and switch super f***ing illegal?

200 hours into a singleplayer/coop power fantasy game. They changed the entire game cause people had too much fun. now you have to relearn the ENTIRE game. I can't recommend a game to anyone if they will bait and switch it with another game 200 hours in. Don't worry though you can have 1 free respec of your entire team with 70 levels on each one. To point out how they are developing it now. they decided to nerf any characters that had greater than a 50 in a stat. 50. if you made characters with a stat lower than 50 you got buffed and if your stat is above 50 you got nerfed. they legit just did the equivalent of nerfing any d&d character with 11 or higher in a stat. how fun.

I'm past the 2 hour limit and I've played for 5 minutes. The game doesn't work cause they refuse to fix their servers. Get more servers. Bring the game down for a few hours. turn on servers. Boom game works. Also you have to install malware. Doesn't buy any good will towards the server when you install malware to play the game.

This game was amazing, this port IS amazing. I have no clue what anyone is complaining about there is so much in this package. It is more than worth it.

This game is fantastic.

Devs Release Game. Devs KNOW it cannot run on PC. Devs KNOW where the problem is. Devs KNOW they need to fix it for players to be able to play game. Devs say, "We'll release the patch next week." Devs KNOW it does not work and release game anyways....

Pay to win and progression is the least of the problems. This game is just kind of bad. Like the devs have no clue what goes into a game like this. Bypassing All the blatant rip offs from TF2 and Overwatch, this game didnt learn anything about presentation. TF2 strived for unique outlines and visuals on everyone so you can tell immediately what is happening and what could be happening. Overwatch had extremely tight audio at launch where you can tell from all the voice lines who was near and what they were doing. This game has Grey. just grey. an endless sea of grey. find a sheet of metal, break your nose and sneeze on the sheet of metal. Now you have combat. The fact that only 1 unit has a passive and you have to pay to get that unit is a non issue considering you can't tell in the game if someone is even using that unit. The "scoreboard" doesn't show any score. its just there to confirm that there are other players on your team even if you have no idea where they are. The only winning Strategy is whomever has the most explosive AOEs or melees because you arent going to understand whats going on half the time anyways so just click a bunch in the direction of red and hope you have enough teammates to also click in the direction of red.

For the Average player I would recommend this game. For anyone planning on Streaming on Twitch i would recommend waiting till till the integration part of it has been fixed. It just doesn't work reliably. Only 1/2 to 2/3rds of the viewers even get it to pop up. Those that do get it to pop up inevitably die and then cant rejoin the raffle. This is because they can be resurrected but you cannot possibly resurrect them all fast enough before they die of old age again. There is a help/hinder pop up that can influence the game and THIS mechanic can bring back your viewers faster, however this feature might not work at all. It NEVER showed up. So your viewers don't get to interact during dungeons. they get to get a follower designed by them that dies pretty fast and then that's it. Your regulars will stick around but any new viewers will simply jump to another stream where they can get re-raffled into someone else's game. I acknowledge that the primary purpose of a game is not for streamers which is why i still recommend this game to regular players. The issue is, The game is leaning hard into twitch integrations to advertise itself and tracking down any documentation to troubleshoot for either the players or the streamers in damn near impossible. I'm not talking about a fan guide or an article form a 3rd party website. The Developers need to make their own guide that discusses What is in the addon, what it does and how it works. Trouble shooting step 1, your viewers NEED to enable 3rd party cookies on twitch or the addon simply wont give them a pop up. it doesn't even say there is an error it just doesn't pop up otherwise. this isnt listed in the configuration guides. it took a reddit forum to point that out. I still have no idea why the help/hinder thing didnt work. Didn't even know it wasn't working till after the stream. there is nothing on the streamers end verifying that its working correctly or how it works.
Again all of this does not matter for a solo player's enjoyment. I recommend buying it and having fun. there are a few minor issues that will be fixed as time goes on with game identity but these are minor. There is too much reliance on bones for everything reducing every ritual to pointlessness except whichever 1 is your favorite cause you cant really afford more than 1 a day and time progresses when you are in a dungeon so you get 1 ritual per dungeon. The farms need to be buffed. Any game that has farming and you don't get at least 1 seed back has missed the point of farming. Stardew valley not giving you your seed back was because the cost of the plant when sold covered the cost of the seed when purchased and then some. if you just have seeds they need to be readily replantable. These are minor but these are my 2 main gripes with the game. simple patches and/or mods can fix these. 1 "full" farm of 6x6 needs about 7 buildings to work......but then the seeds dont.... so its not self sustaining.... Its early on so it isnt a deal breaker, but fix the farms please.
