Quick review because I'm got very emotional whilst playing this!

I have no words to describe how happy and fulfilled this visual novel made me. I LOVE the aesthetic, I LOVE the characters, and I LOVE the storyline. If you've ever watched Saving Face (which you should), you'll feel similar vibes coming from this story, particularly nearer the end -- no spoilers, though!

I'm so so happy to see more lesbian stories like this told, particularly those that don't worm men into the plot too intrinsically; it's a trope I personally dislike. Additionally, the time and setting that this is in heavily influences some characters' way of thinking, adding to the struggles that must be overcome and really making this a tale with gravity, sincerity, and pure love. The drama is real, and it's contemporary.

I could go on for ages about this visual novel and I'm not the best to write reviews as I just want to gush over everything... the art, the music, the story, the characters... everything is so perfect! My heart would explode if we ever saw a sequel of sorts to this, though that may just be me, greedy for more outstanding content.

Finally, there an important message at the end of the novel, which I advise you pay attention to, regarding Hong Kong. It is clear that everyone who worked on this put their heart and soul into making this novel an experience and a work of art that they should all be proud of, and that they are passionate about restoring a positive perception of Hong Kong to the world, whilst highlighting its flaws as a society. This is definitely a novel to re-read and reflect upon.
