Solid campaign, decent multiplayer and a fantastic zombies mode. So why don't I recommend this game?

AI use is why, they are no longer trying to hide it with the recent announcement of the christmas event and terminated the original VA of Samantha Maxis (Julie Nathanson) from Treyarch due to her stance on AI use for voice work. Not only do you spit in the face of artists with AI art but you also slap the face of a talented VA who has voiced a very crucial character like Samantha Maxis since CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS 1 goes to show me you do not care for any VA, artist or worker in general with your IP.

The fact this company is no longer trying to hide their AI use tells me all I need to know about the future of this game and its a damn shame too since the zombies is actually good this year, but with the recasting of a very important VA of a character since Black ops 1 being terminated along with heavy use of AI art I cannot support future games, bundles, or battlepasses the game will push out. Maybe actually respect your VA's and artist's more, but we know that probably won't happen with how you treat your employee's.

Other games are worth more your time, BO3 has endless custom zombies maps in the workshop and there are hundreds of thousands of indie games that respect VA's and artists alike but if you still want to play this game then I won't stop you, but I cannot with good conscience support a game that spits in the face of VA's and artists.

Do better Activision, do better.

So I've kept a close eye on this game for quite some time before the eventual release, seeing the developer showing various animations and progress overtime and normally I am not into these NSFW games I decided to bite the bullet per-say and give it a try. I got a decently well crafted metroidvania! I've adored the genre for quite sometime and it has a lot of different elements that I appreciate along with the "cultured scenes" (what I shall call them for this review, if you know you know~)

Speaking of scenes, the VA's I have listened to thus far in my first impressions of gameplay have done a most impressive job in their performances! Getting into their characters and absolutely nailing each of their roles, I can't wait to encounter more characters as I come along my journey.

However this game does feel a little jank at times but thats okay! I've played a variety of games with some jank as part of them so this is no issue, I did encounter a bug where Korvald's eldritch friend flashbang teleported to me several times as I was traveling/fighting (although I did dash like a maniac sometimes, force of habit when you give me a movement tool teehee!)

Overall I would definitely say from the first impressions I have and without spoiling the game to terribly much I can say this is worth the purchase at full price and on sale depending on which you decide. Coming from someone who isnt very into NSFW games, this was a very pleasant surprise on what kind of gameplay I got. As for the rest? You'll have to find out for yourself like I will, amazing work to the VA's, writers and animators for making such an interesting game in the NSFW games industry!

Quite possibly the best way to play zombies in the CoD series, not only do you have some excellent maps & zombies chronicles along with progression for guns and prestige levels to grind for but also custom zombies content via the steam workshop.

If you're looking to play this game safely, be sure to search up "T7 Patch" by shiversoftdev and look up any videos at how to setup the patch and you're done! The game also suffers from performance issues after an update to the steam API and T7 patch fixes that issue no problem. In addition to you can uninstall the campaign via the "manage DLC" section of the game to save up on file size (game is huge, fair warning). Black ops 1 and Black ops 2 are still good games for zombies but this game has so much content that it is in my opinion the definitive CoD zombies experience.

Buy this on sale though! It still baffles me and many others that they sell this game still for 60 or even 100 dollars, definitely wait for a sale and get the zombies deluxe edition if you want all maps and do the super Easter egg the game has to offer. Or if you want just base game and zombies chronicles you can pick up just the zombies chronicles edition and play the many custom maps to your hearts content.

Bought this on sale and was curious about the zombies mode for this game. Little did I find out the game felt like it was held up with duct tape and twine when trying to so much as move around the map. As for the zombies itself? If you're a fan of DMZ or extraction shooters and don't wanna bother with PvP aspects of most extraction shooters go for it, otherwise this was not even worth the on sale price for a game mode that the company no longer cares for.

Buy Helldivers 2, a much better co-op experience or the plethora of other co-op games steam can offer. Left 4 Dead 2, Vermintide 2, Darktide, Deep Rock Galactic, etc. Skip this game.

This is a call for help, this game has me on a vice grip.

For real, this game is fun and some time to kill as well if you dont want to play anything else.

I have played this game for a long time, met friends on this game and enjoyed this game for the hours I've clocked in but the fact that this games bots have still not been dealt with in the 5 years that this game has had them and Valve has the power to stop it all neglect the game. I am happy for one that it is now moved to 64 bit which was a much needed change but it will not fix the bot problem that is still infesting casual.

Not only this, the bots artificially inflate player numbers to where the max number of players as of writing this review are not what they seem. We have trader bots, idle bots, and cheater bots that inflate the player count so much that its unreal at how many bots have infested the game. The cheater bots are the biggest issue since it actually makes it so the game in matchmaking is unplayable but community servers are still around for players to play if they so desire, but this review will be staying negative until Valve actually takes action against the bots infesting their matchmaking servers while they still neglect the game and continue to profit off it with cosmetic crates.

One of the best shooter's I have ever played this year, challenging in all places (Especially the DLC) and fun no matter how many times you play it. RIP AND TEAR UNTIL, IT IS DONE.

Now fixed, at least for me. It is very worth buying if you like skins for your titan, each prime skin looks amazing and well done.

Quite possibly one of my all time favorite FPS games, I am so glad I got to play this when I did. The story, gameplay, gun play, it all flows so nicely. If you are a fan of Doom, Quake, Blood, any game of the classic FPS era definitely give this a try!

Another one of Treyarch's good Call of Duty games, Black Ops 1 Introduced a lot of interesting things to the table in terms of its multiplayer. New game modes, wager matches, the CoD point system to buy your guns via leveling up and also doing wager matches. Aside from that the Campaign is great and the Zombies is even better to that of World at War, infact you can play a lot of the old World at War maps on Black ops 1, using Black Ops 1's weapons and also having the World at War weapons hung on the walls. I got this game and the DLC bundled together for $30 on Humble Bundle and I think it was money well spent for Zombies, and a pretty good campaign and multiplayer.

Get the game when its on sale though. As much as I recommend getting this one, wait for a sale, you won't regret your purchase if you wish to own the old CoD's and take a break from things like Black Ops 3 or World War 2
