Overall the game looks nice. Awesome graphic rework loses its potential when you zoom out. The "Definitive Edition" sadly is only what the title says. The old annoying stuff are still available. I played 2 of the new campaign. The other 2 is DLCs - 3€ each... Just why? In these days it is trend to add DLCs just to take extra money I guess. The campaigns were idk so weird. Only 7 missions each but some missions were stupidly easy and quick even on hard difficulty and some were stupidly long and boring. There are only a few "Stronghold free-build" based missions. Mostly you just have an army and you fight through but I like that it"s not like siege was in Stronghold 1. You fight through a valley and etc. The new mission format is that you need to fight enemy units which trapped some units and "free" the units (they will become yours). I kinda like this concept. Multiplayer servers - totally loved it and a big reason why I even bought this. As a huge S1 and SC fan I enjoyed it but I expected more like cmon Firefly we waited so long for a great stronghold game. We got good stronghold game... Overall 70% but only because it has the old vibe and old mechanics.
