A treat of a game from the developers of .hack and little tail bronx series, Fuga continues to be a game that touches the heart of its player base. You know the developers from CC2 put a lot of effort into making this and it shows.

Don't let the simple story telling fool you, below it is a mountain of lore and revelations crafted from years of world building. The game starts of by giving you hints and small peeks into its world until you reach the end, where it becomes apparent that this world is very much alive with its history, tales and characters. Having knowledge from the series' previous titles also makes the story so much more engaging.

Gameplay wise Fuga may seem easy, but under the hood lies a lot of decision making and resource management. Your actions have consequences and it shows in more ways than one (No, I'm not talking about the Soul Cannon). You have limited options in and out of combat and it is up to you to use them wisely. The game can be hard, but it is fair enough in regards that smart choices and reduce that difficulty and even outright make you feel powerful. it truly holds its ground as a Strategy RPG.

The music is what I had come to expect from their other published titles and does not disappoint at all. My only gripe would be the UI could use a bit more refining as I found some neat bugs and problems but they weren't anything major. Overall, this game was a truly unique experience from start to finish.

if this game looks interesting to you, just buy it, you won't regret it.
