Had more fun taking out the garbage than playing this.

Plan/hope to change later - coming from quite a bit of time in POE1 and high excitement for POE2.

Positives:
- Great graphics, skill graphics, world graphics for an ARPG.
- Great skill tree returned, passive abilities, gems, unique builds, etc.
- Overall fun to find new unique bosses, areas, quests, etc.
- Made vendors semi viable as one of the few ways to actually get a rare weapon.

Areas for Improvement:
- Stability - my PC is pretty high end, and this thing ramps my CPU to 60-70 degree spikes, with at least a crash or two a day (either in fights, or in a mid boss fight, or even in just turning on my wireless headphones). There is some jank built in.
- Loot drops are absolutely miserable, slow, mundane, and this gives literally no joy towards the ARPG formula (everything white or blue, super rare to get a yellow, or unique, rare to get items of your class, etc). It gives me 0 to look forward to fighting a boss, or opening a chest which is why I play these games.
- Enemies are ramped the hell up and you are a slow lump on a log - you move SO slow, they are ALL up your rear in 2 seconds with immediate aggro from a screen over. Don't even get me started on the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Vile Vultures who ground pound you on repeat with 0 cooldown....
- MX store - kind of disappointing selection but given its EA itll improve so GGG can make its money.
- The map/menus could use a overhaul - overly confusing - the new world map imo is garbage.

Overall a foundational start - I bought a founders pack (the higher end one) cause I love POE and want this to succeed but right now its like pulling teeth to continue playing it.

One of the most fantastic remakes I think I've ever played. Reminds me of the happiness I felt diving into the RE2 remake, and its awesome to see the whole world, enemies, puzzles, etc. fully fleshed out in modern day scope.

What a turnaround on a game I had already kind of pegged as a never going to play given the original reviews, and original over monetization on the player base. Would highly recommend in its current state and am looking forward to continued improvement.

The positives:
- Great art style, reminding me of Kingdoms of Amalur mixed with WoW but with way more detail.
- Fun engaging combat, skills, and depth of systems between "echos" for builds, stat lines, sub stat increases, etc.
- Really enjoyable dungeon running - multiplayer drop in, and as well randomization on dungeons. There are imbuments you can add to your dungeons similar to things found in Diablo to make them more difficult, annoying, etc. with higher reward.
- Customization is a HUGE highlight, from customizing armors, dyes, having, being able to transmog, etc. Things have been super enjoyable.
- Really quite thorough and well built custom housing, kind of love this part and that people can visit - really wish there were easier more fluid ways to get new items in there, but in love with the system.
- Mounts, fast travel, etc.
- Love the environments, city, music, etc.
- Can custom set level scaling or not for your world - if you level scale you're more likely to retain items at your level or better, if you don't level scale you can also steam roll early areas to feel godlike - its nice to have this option.

The cons:
- There is some stuttering from time to time and I am on a pretty high end PC - this surprised me given the fact that the game graphically should not be too demanding.
- There are likely some memory leaks, or otherwise in certain dungeons run with the Greed inbument - my CPU runs at 77' all of a sudden unless in menus, and again graphically speaking and in managing the generation of that modified it shouldn't be this intensive.
- You can tell this was originally built to be a "grind" type of MMO style game, some systems are a little janky, though they have streamlined quite a bit. Some quest lines have you running the same dungeon 4 times in a row as your quest giver is in the dungeon under a different modifier. That said, it doesn't fully detract, just something to call out.

This game is simply incredible even in EA - combat is punchy, with movement being incredibly fast and fluid throughout the maps and during battles. The environment is beautiful. The soundtrack - just an absolute banger.

In my 9 hours of playing I've had one glitch causing a CTD, beyond that absolutely amazing and recommend this to anyone especially at the price point.

A game that has the absolute bones to become something great.

The epitome of EA - hope it gets there status. Love the concept, the aesthetic, and the difficulty of it.

The game though is marred by bugs, some glitchy graphics, over zealous clearly tracking your pathway AI (despite being a tactical escape, get in get out type of game), and overall minimal quality of life features.

I'd give this a solid 10/10 for excitement/concept, but 6/10 for execution at current. Love multiplayer gameplay a bit more which would move it to a 7/10 in most cases, but overall its just got some solid EA jank.

Hope the developers recognize/realize what this game could become as a multiplayer game and am rooting for it (for now don't recommend at price but will monitor/change as things progress).

Additionally, the water system forcing gameplay needs an overhaul - don't care who says it doesn't - its a predatory force you to play model for us 9-5 folks and I loathe the concept of losing progress just for a irrational system.

Fantastic game akin to any house building or store management game, but very impressed by their early access given some of the systems they've built. Management of employees, multilevel order packages for your your stores inventory, and as well fantastic fleshed out graphics on the cards, holos, dice, and more.

Hoping to see a better stock room (maybe not far enough in to building out my shop), as well as better animations/graphics on the customers (who as it stands are a bit of lifeless husks with only a couple animations playing at tables). That said, fantastic game and highly recommend.

Ill switch this to a positive, game is a ton of fun - negatives below I believe still need some work but it would be unfair to give it a full on negative given how fun its been. Relatively polished, combat is a blast, graphics are gorgeous and the environments engaging.

Added thoughts:
- Needs more operations (though I love the added bosses, new paths as you go above the lowest level).
- Needs more seamless drop in co-op - sometimes takes forever and then menus load forever etc.
- Bulwark needs a rework in PvP - too weak.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Love the general game, the atmosphere seems great and combat seems fine (albeit some keybindings being weird).
Negative review due to:
- Game being an absolute CPU nuke - water cooled my CPU is sitting at 74 degrees and this game isn't even a fraction as intensive as some I play. Seems based on community forums I am not alone in this with 80-90 degree temps even in the main menu.
- No FOV slider - you basically are sitting up the space marines backend with no ability to pull back.
- No Ultrawide support.
- Some general glitches like lockon making my camera spin around like a merry go round.
Hope it improves, will pivot review if it does.
Fantastic unique "tower builder"/"defense" game, mixed with demon hunting/action, mixed with base builder lite, mixed with Pikmin, enhanced with a beautiful soundtrack and engaging game play.
This is one of those "lets see how it goes" Capcom style games, and reminds me of when care was put into video games instead of the pump and dump battle pass multiplayer type stuff these days. So happy I picked up this gem.
Enjoyable gun play/looter shooter - definitely some predatory from Nexon trying to force you towards the cash shop, that said good variety as far as things to enjoy and character archetypes.
Curious to see how they expand on this - giving them credit for also listening to the community so far and introducing matchmaking for Hard content which was originally laid out like Destiny's crappy "go to discord or a forum" to find people method.
I will say the two of the most frustrating things that don't respect your time are void shards/outpost timers and having to farm mats from "encrypted" boxes/vaults. Really hope Nexon rethinks their loops here as people are spending less time playing so much as waiting/walking for these not well thought out mechanics (e.g., see above into pushing you to the cash shop).
