Many of these supposed Christians don’t care nearly as much about poor, downtrodden, widows and fatherless as much as they care about miracles and wonders. They don’t want to love their enemies and they don’t see sinners as people who have strayed from the path of God, but instead they see them as demons and they want God to send them all to hell instead and sinners are all those who don’t uphold particular set of rules of their denomination. These christians see other christians as enemies and non believers are even worse in their eyes, and in their hearts there is no love, mercy or patience. Only hate and arrogance.
People don't actually read their Bible and rely on false prophets to tell them what to fear. Folks choose simplicity, ignorance, and superstition to have a sense of control and understanding.
