the game could use a bit more variety (i'd love to see maps with zany stuff like loop de loops or a gamemode where you select like 3 maps instead of always staying on the same one) but other than that it's a really fun experience, a must have in your library if you want a unique game that'll make you hate your friends

I currently have 40 hours into the game and i've barely scratched the surface of it. This is, in my opinion, the greatest game of all time: it takes everything good from the previous Souls titles, mix them together, and adds a lot on top of it. The scale of this game is just MASSIVE, i keep finding new ♥♥♥♥ and going "ooooh what the ♥♥♥♥ is that", never before a game has felt so massive and coherent in its worldbuilding. The exploration is awesome thanks to that, you never get bored, and everything else in the game is also awesome: mini dungeons are pretty fun, the bosses are great and while i haven't tried a lot of the major bosses yet the ones i've beat are definitely on par with the best the Dark Souls serie had to offer before, and every single playthrough will be extremely different, due to how massive the world is, and how customizable your build can be. Asides from the performance of the game that are not the best (but that can be fixed in the future), this game is literally perfect in every single way imo, as long as you enjoy Souls games. If you don't, it's probably the best one to start due to accessible it is compared to previous entries (since you no longer can get blocked by a boss, now you can just go explore somewhere else), tho even with that aspect it's still a Souls game at its core, which is not something everyone will enjoy.
