Thanks to this game, I will no-longer laugh at my cat when he's hunting birds through the window.

Now I know he only does this for the achievements!!

Real ASMR AND a Murder Mystery story??! ...Hell Ya!!

The game 'seems' short here. But the point IS to have us replay it a few times over and again!

Contrary to a Netflix or TV series, where what you saw is what you saw and then have to rely on your friends to maybe learn about a different angle or new perspective to the intrigue. Here you control the camera. And exactly because you can't see all the action all at once, you have to re-watch it from a different angle each time to fully get all that's going-on out there (and gain Achievements in the process)!

In my opinion, this is brilliant and makes it a much more immersive experience than just watching TV!

Therefore, if in doubts due to the many mixed reviews, don't run for the closest 'Fire Escape'. And instead, choose to enjoy all the action of this dramatic night, from your vantage point of view at the top of a building filled with weirdos.

What could go wrong? ....Right?!! ;)

Wow! This is what a real TD game should look like!

LOTS of playtime. TONS of levels and stages. MANY heroes to unlock as you progress. MULTIPLE upgrades for them, the towers, and the special powers. GREAT tower placement and strategy options. FUN characters and upgrades ( you can even upgrade your artillery towers into some sort of medieval Mech Warriors! lol! ). HUGE variety of enemies (some a real pain in the b*tt). SOLID graphics and performances.

AND most importantly, what most TD games are lacking: Well-balanced enough so the game remains playable from start to finish! (...although I must admit I switched to 'casual' after Level 4, but was not penalized in terms of progress or achievements). ;p

A beautiful and easy to dive-in time killer for fans of this genre. And many hours of playtime to guarantee a good return on your investment! :D

I'll now go check the rest of this franchise, as I think they have several similar games. Hours of fun, and millions of dead monsters ahead !!! ;)

Early Access Review
Not really a Tower Defense. But rather a 'Base Defense' game where you mount-up your defenses and try to survive multiple waves of enemies. And it could have been a really good one at it!

But the game is absurdly unbalanced and WAY TOO HARD. To the point where it is practically unplayable after round #4, and with no option to set it on easy or casual. And for sure some of the bugs, like the inability to "load-up" some of the upgrades even though you've got enough points and passed the perquisite level, doesn't help making it any easier.

Just not fun at all when there is no humanly possible solution to progress much deeper in the game.

An easy 'hard pass' for me!

This is Pac-Man's Champion-sh*t Edition!
My "gameplay" here was entirely spent on my 3 attempts to play it, including re-installing and verifying all files integrity, but to no avail! All I get when trying to launch the first mission (i.e. Tutorial) is a never-ending 'buffering' or 'saving' symbol, which I stared-at for a full 13 minutes during those 3 attempts. It is as if their servers are completely offline, or just a major bug they don't even care to notice.
I strongly recommend you 'ghost' this garbage! Refunded!!

It’s so bad it’s almost good!

But before you uninstall it after 3 min (like I did) before reinstalling it just in case files were corrupted, (or before removing me as a friend because I am giving this game a thumbs-up), let me give you those few tips:

1. Controls are not broken. It’s just that you can’t turn 180 degrees in this game. For example, if you are jogging-up “North” in the ‘W’ key direction, you can’t turn around by pressing ‘S’ to run ‘South’ all of a sudden. It won’t work. You first have to turn 90 degrees, using either the ‘A’ or ‘D’ key, and then you can press ‘S’ to turn “South”;

2. Very annoyingly, if your lead character hits a wall, or even just brush it: It’s game-over and your units die. Don’t ask me why. I don’t get it either. But then it kinda grows on you and becomes a feature of the game you just have to recon with, turning a bad game into a challenging one in the process. Throughout the game-play, you will need to be very careful with your moves and anticipating your path, especially since you can’t turn 180 degrees to avoid a wall. You first need to turn 90 degrees then 180 degrees…So don’t trap yourself in a corner;

3. You don’t even need to shoot here as your ‘troops’ do it automatically…This is a bit of a bummer for a top-down shooter game (duh!). But giving them directions and setting-up the best course during live battles, will soon become challenging enough, I promise;

4. Regardless of how many soldiers you will have accumulated, all of them absurdly just follow your Leader in this ridiculous “choo-choo-train formation”. (I guess none of them went to West Point). But regardless, only the health of your leader matters: Have him killed (or just brushing a wall), and the entire group is done(!)

Despite the above, the weirdest part is that all these bizarre parameters somehow contribute to create a challenging enough game. And, like I did myself, my bet is that many true gamers-at-heart will most likely let these oddities pass by, accept the challenge, and just get sucked into chasing the next levels and achievements. No highscores or leaderboard tho…And I hope the Devs fix that as I think it is a huge missed opportunity!

This being said, I don’t think most of us can sink more than 1 or 2 hours (…or 5) in this game before losing interest (or our mental sanity).

But at least, based on the above information, you can now make your own informed decision whether you want to give it a try or not.

Personally I would say: Yes but....No “Rush”! ;p
