launcher dropped support for windows 7, which means you technically can play the game, but the launcher won't let you because ubi decided to brick it for win7 users while they could just have left us with a functioning older version

Beyond: Two Souls is a game I wanted to play since a long time because I saw some episodes of a walktrough and I really liked the concept.

I like the story and idea, but sadly the immersion is ruined by a really poor import of the game to PC on Steam.
There is a ton of bugs and glitches, some softlocks and even with recommended specs, the game can get low in terms of framerates on the more heated moments.

Here's a list of some glitches:
Using the steam overlay has a high chance to make the game have no sound once you finished the chapter you are currently in, which forces you to restart it unless you're deaf.
Crashes can happen randomly, not too often but some cutscenes can make the game crash multiple time before you can go trough it.
Softlocks: One in the Homeless chapter, where you have to save Jimmy from the fire, sometimes once you finished controlling him with Aiden, Joddy will spawn where Jimmy was stuck, making you stuck instead.
And another one in the Navajo chapter, when you have to follow Jay to the sheeps on a horseride, here Jay will simply freeze for a minute or two, and if you start going without him, a cutscene where he asks you to come with me shows and once it closes, Joddy and her horse suddenly fall trough the ground/void .

Other than that, it's kinda sad to not go in deeper explaination of how aiden "works", for exemple why can he choke some people and not others, why can he posses sometimes and sometimes not, what makes aura changes, it doesn't seem to make much sense.
Also QTEs seem a bit unresponsive, especially in the forest part.

Despite most of the negative reviews of the game for it's story, I think the game is great on that part, but it's a real shame the port to PC has been butchered, so i'll leave a negative review until most of the bugs I cited here get fixed.

they dropped support for win7 because "muh security", i have a ton of recent games in my steam library that run flawlessly, such as Deep Rock galaxy or Barotrauma, it is a very pitiful attempts of the devs to not give a windows 7 version to the game because win7 users were a "small userbase" (some user said around 5%, which is not negligeable)
So devs if you read this, please give win7 users another chance, because the game is really slow on win7 for now.
