A small cast of characters contained into a small space made for a great eerie psychological horror game. Utilising fantastic imagery throughout the game as it weaves the story from two separate point of views. The room environments immerse the player as we watch it transform over the course of the game, to the narrow suffocating corridors that bridge said rooms. The game has a great atmosphere, a great cast of compelling characters complimented alongside a great engaging story. The game is great.

Early Access Review
A nice chillax game.
  • It has 80's synthwave music accompany you along the endless highway while you drive into the endless void with no destination in vision. When will you stop, you ponder? Why are cars spawning out of nowhere, you wonder?
  • If you don't like the music you can just mute the game and play your own, the game sound isn't necessary.
  • The visuals are pleasing, with a variety of multiverses. Adding to the overall world building and lore.
Helpful Tip: press C to change the camera angles
    Cheap price as well.

What a shame, the concept of someone making a game around their wacky and crazy dreams sounds good on paper but the execution is horrible.
You have a level were you climb a ladder for 5 minutes, yes 5 minutes, while in the background someone is running around a room throwing paper.
Another level in which you hold a button for 4 minutes, and if you let the button go those 4 minutes reset.
Some levels have commentary in the background in which the creator complains about his life hoping for players to pity him, it just comes off as annoying.

Good things about the game are ... some of the music is fine and it's free. That's it

Use of an controller is strongly recommended.
The game is simply a boss rush, no minions or grunts. Instead you traverse the hub world until you discover the set of bosses for that particular location.
The pixel-art and music for the game are great.
The bosses themselves fall in almost all in one hit, same as do you. One hit decides fight. The bosses all have distinct weak spots and yet aren't a push over to fight. A sense of accomplishment washes over you as finally manage to topple the titan that you are facing. All the bosses are a blast to fight against. Except the Yeti
Definitely give the game a chance and grab it once it is on sale.

On a side note, I accidentally defeated the "Final Boss" on my first try by randomly firing the arrow, without even seeing his full moveset. Take that as you will; Positive or Negative.

Currently procrastinating the game. On April 8th 2019, got to the part with the giant ape that throws its own ♥♥♥♥ at you as an attack. But because I put it on hold, does that mean that Sekiro is a bad game? By no means. It is really a great game, so it was no shock when it was awarded GOTY.
I have barely dipped my toe into the Dark Soul franchise hence I had barely any experience with this "Souls like" game. So from own experiences I'd say it's a good place to start. Admittedly the game is frustrating, you can spend an entire session fighting a boss, each time learning their attack pattern; when to parry, when to block, when to dodge, when to heal, and when to attack. It might turn people away but it comes with its own satisfaction when you finally defeat the enemy before you; be it a ♥♥♥♥ throwing ape, a granny, praying monks or even a pack of roosters. Highly recommend the game.

The trick here is that you can come back to life mid battle ... only to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ die again.

Garfield Kart, what can I say.
It's a cult-classic, where you can see its influence even to day. Its success later went on to create a Garfield comic, TV shows based on the cute cat and even a movie starring Bill Murray. A small team of indie developers caused all these wonderful projects into fruition.
If you have ever played any game of the Mario Kart franchise you can easily notice how they got inspiration from this game such as the mascots name followed by Kart and having the iconic lasagne in both games etc. Some may say that the Mario Kart series is ripping off Garfield Kart but I see it differently.

"Imitation is the sincerest [form] of flattery". - Jon Arbuckle

The game play of Garfield Kart may scare some potential consumers due to the steep learning curve but if you stick with it, the satisfaction will be worth it. This kind of game doesn't grace us every year. I shouldn't have to praise this game any more. Buy it.
