This is truly a masterpiece made with such attention to detail that barely any games to date even strive to attain.

The story itself is top notch, where moments of dialogue just leave you speechless and wondering on what the next conversation can bring. There are no words to describe the feeling of playing a fully developed game that keeps you entertained and wanting for more with every moment you play.

Hats off for Larian, you produced a gem in the industry when there's little hope for any game that comes out. I can't wait for your next additions and adventures you will bring.

Downright lazy and broken launch.
You have the access to Amazon servers and you're unable to provide capacity for your playerbase. On top of that even if you wait in queue, there's a chance you get rekt by TooManyRetries error after waiting for a couple of hours.

Another thing, the game was "technically" released during the closed beta, aside from some changes, pressing, sometimes gamebreaking bugs are still present in the game. It lacks content to keep you engaged past the grind of trees and stones for more then 1-3 months depending on how casually you play it, no matter how much you wanna justify PvP as an aspect of the game (you'll get bored of it eventually).

The game is barebones for something that was in development for this long with the backing of Amazon, it basically makes fun of it's players that have to wait in a queue for hours on end to enjoy something they purchased cause by the time you get in game to play, you're past the limit of refunding this scam.

Nothing new for the past 4 years at least in the CoD MP franchise, probably aside from wallrunning. This one has piss poor multiplayer diversity, lack of imagination, tries to copy BF1, also had the pleasure to encounter a couple of hacking children (already?). BUT TO TOP IT ALL OFF, those hitboxes are so big that even a blind person could score multiple kills with a sniper rifle.

Verdict of the beta, poor, bad, useless. You won't win PC gamers heart towards call of duty if you make a literal copy of your previous 5 games, shove it back in the world war era and introduce 0 recoil guns and free semi-wallhacks with the hit notification, we're not peasants that don't know how to aim, shoot and control a weapon in video games like piss poor peasanty where this game belongs.

I will leave those few hatred messages towards this game here as I was really expecting it for a while. Anyway, rant start.
1.The game starts off pretty idiotically, shoving the pointless and retarded Arc client in your face to begin with, seriously, if you put games on steam, ♥♥♥♥ off with your third party apps, no one wants them, that's why we have steam.
2. There is a multiplayer FPS lock? What? The? ♥♥♥♥? I basically have hardware that can smash this game's framerate but I'm limited to 30 FPS or sometimes 60? (notice how I put sometimes there, you most of the time are limited to 30 FPS, ON A PC GAME, IN A MULTIPLAYER ENVIRONMENT, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CONSOLE PLEBISM)
3. Latency issues of players. Happened to where I was hitting a running person, where I was faster due to skill buffs and he was slowed, aside from not ever hitting anything and horrid FPS lock, pretty sure he wasn't there or was more in front, thus being pretty sure there was latency issues.
4. FPS LOCK, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥! Stop pushing games on PC with console optimizations, or with even the slightest idea of a console in mind, it's a stronger, more matured environment, with way more capable hardware than this game even requires, yet we're held down in our playing experience by the single fact that there is a FPS lock, not even to 60 FPS 100% of the times to I guess, provide a leveled playing field?

Let's put things head on, the game is dull, pretty bad at times with some good if not really great aspects to it. This is the first view of it after a couple of hours with the game itself.

PROS:
- Looks nice if you turn down silly motion blur and sunrays, otherwise it looks something similar to 2005 games.
- The taming system: you are introduced to it very early on, it's pretty fun and a really strong point of this game
- Somewhat decent character customization with a nice attention to most details

CONS:
- Horrible input lag! Having pretty solid peripherals and a pretty solid computer I encountered heavy input lag, especially as an Assassin where your key combo ability, a dash, requires you to double tap a direction key, literally had to tap a direction key around 6-7 times for the dash to work
- VERY VERY VERY POOR combat mechanics! Again, from the perspective of an assassin I felt just leaving my character to auto attack felt more rewarding with higher damage numbers. I aslo feel no implication as to how I myself affect my skills aside from maybe combos that sometimes don't work, for that read the first con.
- Very outdated and bad combat style! Having chosen the Action Mode set I expected to see myself able to jump from 1 monster to another with attacks, chains and so on, instead the game gives you the same tab style combat you chose away from in the first place, just this time with a crosshair in the center of your screen.
- Poor voice acting. This is pretty fun, you can hear an npc spam the same line at you just by spam interacting with him.
- No support for mouse buttons customization making owners of more expensive peripherals feel they have like 5-6 wasted buttons they can't use
- Existing bugs that can be pretty much ignored really, but having to see them just by playing a couple of hours isn't really nice, tho this is easily fixable
- Sound assets pulled from a soundboard or from a free collection found by a quick google search. Example: Hit Z to pull out Assassin's daggers. Found a few more.
- Poor story quality? Idk, I haven't been much into reading or hearing it aside from the prison part where I quickly started skipping so my head won't hurt from the bad voice acting, overall, no feel or personal touch to it to make it interesting.

Things to add at the end: This game wants and pretends to feel like TERA. It isn't, it won't be, it lacks how fluent TERA's combat works and how your character feels when you play it.

DO NOTE: As many might bash on this review, this is a couple of hours into the game, not a massively full review, everyone should feel different about their game experience, but from me this experience isn't recommended if you expect a lot from this title.

Final verdict for this game: 4/10 - The interesting and fun feel of the pet/mount system cannot pull this game from the missery it got itself into on launch day. It uses mechanics that were maybe interesting more then 5 years ago and even then we had better games then this one. Stay away, it's not as promising and fun as it looks.
