I am absolutely addicted to this.

I'm not kidding, I've put more time into this game than all my other VR only games combined. Custom songs, along with official DLC, keeps me coming back for more, and so far it's the only game where I've put money towards all the DLC because well, I find all of it just that enjoyable, and I also feel like the developers deserve it.

The may or may not change based on the acquisition by Facebook, but for the time being, if you have a VR headset, you have to have this game, and no argument can be made against that.

Early Access Review
Imagine this; a game designed from the ground up with all the mechanics, aesthetics, and sound being an ode to the old school classics such as Doom, Wolfenstein, and Duke Nukem, but translated into virtual reality, and translated extremely well.

From reloading your weapons, to dragging dead corpses around, to dodging enemy fire, everything you do in this game is very well polished even for being early access, and simply put is one of the most unique VR experiences you can have.

I used to chuckle at those who managed to buy a game two or more times for different platforms. Maybe it's just because I'm normally a patient person when it comes to most games.

That all changed with the N. Sane Trilogy.

All three of these Crash games, like to many others, were a big part of my childhood, to the point where I broke down and bought a PS4 specifically to play this. I just did not expect a PC release to come out at all, but after failing to find "Only on PlayStation" stamped on the game packaging, I became a tad hopeful for the possibility. While the game was amazing on PS4, the 30 FPS cap and long loading times took away from the experience. By the time a patch came out to address the loading times, I had already beaten all 3 games to the best of my ability.

Fast forward to the 2nd day of the PC release, I kept reading up on how well of a port it was, and I was pretty satisfied with what I was seeing, so I bought it once again. The extra FPS alone, up to 162 capped, was a complete and utter game changer. Parts that I found super difficult to complete on PS4 were much easier due to a much lower input latency, and being able to see the extra frames for a better reaction time for certain events. Combine this with the ability to turn off things like motion blur, depth of field, change the resolution, and use nearly any controller you want, from Xbox 360, to PS4, and to Xbox One, it all adds up to make the PC version easily the best platform to play this game on. Loading times are about the same between PS4 and PC now, regardless if you are using an SSD, so that's about the only thing comparable.

Technical Aspect aside, gameplay and the mechanics are just as I remember them, with the exception of "hitboxes". On both PS4 and PC I've managed to step on the very edge of a Nitro box and it not go off, something I have no memory of happening in the original games. This happens pretty rarely, and it definitely happens more on PC than PS4, but it's worth mentioning. I love the added time trials for the first two games as well. While they are not as difficult as the Crash 3 trials, they are still fun to beat. The two free DLC levels are also pretty great but even on PC, my patience grows so thin on Stormy Ascent that I still have yet to beat it.

Some people do not like the updated soundtrack and sound effects, and I can understand that since it's not exactly the same as what most of us grew up listening to when we played, but I personally think it's similar enough to please most people and the people who have not played the originals probably will not care all that much. Speaking of which, if you have not played the originals and you are reading this, you /should/ be okay because of how well the first game eases you into it, but it is still the hardest game out of all three of them. If you get stuck on the first crash game, it's probably best to go back to it after you've played enough of Crash 2 and 3.

Overall, this is a great port to a great trilogy. Nearly everything, including the soundtrack, mimics the original three games aside from the updated graphics and special effects. If you have a PC capable of running this at 60 FPS, it will be well worth it over other platforms, and if you can go even higher than that, that's even better. Love platforming games in general? This one is definitely worth checking out. Never played one before? Still worth checking out. Played all 3 games before? It's a must have.

I waited and waited for this to release on the PC. When the X360 and PS3 versions were out on the shelves, the voices in my head screamed out, "NO! THAT IS NOT THE PROPER EXPERIENCE, YOU MUST WAIT!" and with that I waited...

A year later, the "Next-Gen" experience released on the "Next-Gen" consoles, and when I started thinking maybe this is what I should go for, the voices came back, kicking and yelling and hollering "NO! DO NOT GIVE IN! YOU MUST BE PATIENT!". Again, I obeyed them...

When it was possible to pre-purchase said game on steam, the voices had calmed down, and only one of them was talking.."Now is the time, you know what must be done." ..they were right...I moved my mouse as fast as possible to add the game to my cart and make the purchase. It was over before I could even fully comprehend what came over me. Had I made the right decision to pre-purchase? What if it's GTA IV all over again?

Launch day at last, everything preloaded and ready, waiting for the game to unpack. The voices now seemed to be at 200% volume, barking away the same two words repeatedly "IT'S HERE!".

Finally, I'm in the game. Everything is running smoothly, there are so many options and settings...so many choices. The Frames Per Second were too high, oh so too high to be true. I played for hours and hours, not encountering any bugs, any glitches, even after that magnificent day passed, I still cannot find any major bugs. It's like they all crawled away and made refugee in EA's next big title.

If time travel was made possible. I would go back in time and pre-purchase this game all over again, and again, and again. I would never once regret it.

I really do find it funny how the top reviews are all "Rockstar has shady business practices" and before that it was "I got banned for the FOV Mod".

The first one is a misconception, and the second is a flat out lie. I wish people didn't circle jerk on bad information so much

On a side note, I wish there were more GTA Online Contact missions.

GTA Online has been ruined since the Gun running update, but SP is still cool

Early Access Review
Overall Rating: 9.7/10

This is such a simple little arena shooter and yet, I see myself in the future, jumping on top of people's heads right before they explode into oblivion from the onslaught of powerful pellets propelled from my Bullcraft, simply by clicking Mouse 2, or I watch as someone's head is turned into a red mushy melon-like substance when I Dodge-Jump around the corner, only to do a complete Ten-Eighty and scope in with the Falcon, mere milliseconds before the trigger is pulled.

Moving on...this game runs extremely well. I'm certain hardware from 2012 and above will have no issues playing this game. Two Game Modes and One Map is fine by me. Tweak what you have now, and work your way up to bigger things, it's better than throwing it all out on the table from the get-go, only to have none of it work or be worth anything.

For an Early Access title, you'd expect there to be hundred of bugs and glitches that need fixed or tweaked. This is not the case here, as I doubt you'll find more than a few minor bugs here and there, and since you have console access, you can most likely fix your issues from there.

I really want to like this game, trust me I do, but there are just too many settings missing and it's very content lacking for an RTS. Based on the fact that Uber Entertainment put it out of Early Access, I feel very doubtful they will continue to support this game and make it worth the price tag. Speaking of which, it's no wonder why this game has gone on two 80% off sales in the past month.

Early Access Review
Update: Holy Hell, almost four years later and this thing is finally released with a full "okayish" soundtrack, new vehicles, new tracks, a career mode, tons of parts to upgrade cars with, decent customization options, and near perfect optimization. Even with all that said, I still think anyone looking into it should wait for a sale of $30 minimum, but it is definitely a fully working game that doesn't still feel like it is still in early access even after release.

Lazy Review:
Rating: 88/100 - Fun Little smash n' crash game and the physics are amazing, does not currently have much else to offer.

Still Somewhat Lazy Review:
Oh bugbear, looks like you've managed to steal my heart with this one. As someone who thoroughly enjoyed FlatOut:UC, I can say I look forward to the full release of this, and even now, the fact that you can "shape-shift" your car to nonsensical proportions in a race, whether you consent to it or not, and have pieces of cars just scattered all over the place is just damn-tastic.

However, in it's current state I do not think it's worth the full price tag, maybe $20 at the max, simply because to me there doesn't seem to be enough content, such as cars, upgrades, tracks, minigames, and a good soundtrack. The two or three music tracks currently in the game get repetitive and annoying when sitting in a lobby for so long, so I ended up turning off music altogether and just used my own.

Should you buy this game? Yes, but you may get bored of it quickly due to a lack of content. Pick it up on sale and if you get bored, you can always wait for release, which may or may not have a full $60 price tag.

Somehow Square Enix managed to make a graphical experience where Lara Croft falls down from dangerous and deadly heights at least 6,354,754,554,123,874 times and eventually they shaped it into a playable game...Nah! I'm just joking!

Story wise this game is pretty nice, but predictable. Uh oh we crashed on a island and now we need to get help. Mysterious storm makes plane crash? Wat is goin o-...oh wait its the sun queen, she is vengeful bleh bleh bleh It is however a pretty long story and took me about 12 hours on the hardest difficulty to complete it.

Controls are pretty good, but I wish I could change normal and fire arrows/shells without having to use the number keys. I prefer all weapon changing options bounded to the mouse wheel but...you know what I'll shutup since I'm being bias now.

Graphics for the year it released are good, and when maxed out this game can put a hurting on your system. I just leave things like Tesselation and TressFX off though, I prefer 60 FPS at all times. They did a great job of porting this too, it is very well optimized in a sense that your GPU is tested through thick and thin, while the CPU won't make too much of a difference.

Gameplay isn't very unique, but that doesn't mean it's not fun. The bow and the rope system are pretty cool, along with the use of the things like the rope pulley thingy-that-I-cannot-remember-the-name-of.

Replayability isn't very long, as you can usually find half of the stuff in one area while doing the story. After playing for 24 hours I have a 100% completed save game. There are a few achievements that mostly require you to start a new game so maybe you can get some fun out of doing that.

Multiplayer I won't go over much, I've only done two 1vs1 matches with a friend, and I've never been a fan of third person multiplayer. I was kinda hoping you start the game with a bow and weapons are scattered on the map and such but nope...they added the old and overused loadout system that has been around since 2007 with CoD4 (CoD4 is still a good game by my standards).

So, my overall verdict is that you should probably look into playing/buying this game, even at the $20 pricetag. If you're patience enough, you can wait for a steam sale and save some money but honestly, if I knew this game was as good as it is, I wouldn't have mind pre ordering it.

So, one question you could possibly have on your mind is: how does this game stack up against it's predecessor? If you want the short version, they added/improved a lot of game mechanics, but the game only goes downhill from there. Keep reading if you want to know more.

The UI and other mechanics have been enhanced slightly, you no longer have to walk everywhere as there is now "fast-walking" which can be used by holding down shift. Selecting dialouge options is easier, as well as the various actions you can perform on characters, they changed it all to cursor based so you can click on each option independently, instead of having to use the mouse wheel. Quick reaction times also got some love, as now in some cases you need to use WASD to move out of the way, but I wouldn't consider this a breakthrough or anything special, I'm just putting it out there on the table.

Now that we've gone through the good, here comes the bad...the actual story and episodes. I really liked the first 2 episodes, the first most of all but after those two, everything just started to seem...I don't know...off? I can't really describe it, maybe it's just because in the first season I felt like I had more freedom, and as I went through the episodes it was like my freedom to make certain choices and my ability to move around freely just seemed to be near diminished. The last episode seemed to be the worst in terms of choice making. Why couldn't I just shoot Arvo? I wanted him dead for the longest time. Why did I have to choose between shooting Kenny and Jane? Kenny proved he was unstable, so I ended up offing him, then it turns out Jane was being just as big of a douche as Kenny was? Just to prove her point that he was unstable?? I applaud telltale for making a series as complex as this, but I would seriously prefer it if they take their time with the next season. I was honestly surprised when Episode 5 released when it did, just one month after Episode 4, I expected it to take MUCH longer than that, and it probably should have.

Anyhow, I will most likely be picking up Season 3, despite the slight dissapointment I obtained from playing this one. If Season 3 turns out to be very similar to this one, I don't think I'll be playing the series anymore.

Do I still recommend the game? Yes, it's still an enjoyable title, it's just not as enjoyable and memorable as the first title.

This game is a complete and utter joke...that is if your definition of a joke is a game with an amazing storyline, unique gameplay, and a million different choices and paths to take. Unfortunately, when it all boils down to it, you get the same ending but still, you get to choose what friends you make, same goes with your enemies, not many games give you the luxury of the sort.

This may sound odd to some but, I also love the visuals/graphics/camera angles in this game, mostly because it takes me back to the Playstation 2 era. I remember playing alot of PS2 games that had hand drawn textures, just like this one.

The music is just...beautiful, very suspensful stuff, you don't usually find music like that in games anymore, thanks to the "crapstep" genre, just go listen to BF3 or 4's soundtrack and you'll see what I mean...

Overall, this game gets a solid 99/100 from me. Why the one missing point? Well, I uhhh...errrrr...sometimes the characters glitch out in cutscenes! Yeah, that's it!...
