Game is great, if you care about a PSN account you're weird.

So far so good. I see a lot of users complaining about frame rate issues inside towns with a lot of people and quite honestly, my FPS dips down to around 30-40 when in town, and outside I'm pushing 80ish. Sure, for being a game released in 2024 those aren't exactly high numbers. But the game is fun, I loved DDDA, you won't see my crying about MTX because the things being sold are obtainabled, and have been obtained for FREE in game.

A few things I think need some improvement

- Jumping Distance/Clinging to large enemies

In the first game it didn't feel as though I was jumping straight up and down when trying to cross a very small gap, in DD2 that's EXACTLY how it feels and traversing mountain landscapes is quite a pain. I can't tell you how many times I tried to cross a gap that was clearly within my ability, and I just fell to my death. Trying to run and jump onto Cyclops and other large enemies seems harder than it needs to be, so now I just wack away at their ankles and hope they fall down so I can poke them in the eye.

- "unstable" FPS rates

I know this was addressed by the devs in a news post, and I want to clarify a bit. My FPS 85% of the time is perfectly fine. But constantly going from 60 down to 20ish while running out in the open just should not happen. I'm no dev, I don't know what goes into optimizing and/or fixing something like this, but a multi billion dollar company should have no problems making sure that someone with an above average PC can sustain a medium-high FPS value doing almost anything in their game.

TL;DR - FPS issues shouldn't exist | Microtransactions cost $$$ for things you can obtain for free but crying is free.

My opinion is completely biased, this game is phenomenal and I always find myself coming back to play it again and again. Make sure you always talk to everyone, accept and complete your side quests because you can finish the main game rather quickly, finding yourself thinking you have nothing left to do.

This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ weird, to say the very least. I played this game for a total of 14 minutes. 5 minutes shaking "Bob" to see him jiggle on the main menu, another 5 minutes trying to figure out how in the actual hell I'm supposed to aim a rock without my camera flying around like I just smoked a pound of crack, and 4 minutes trying to figure out how to exit the game without having to ctrl-alt-delete my way back to feeling somewhat normal. If you like acid, sumo wrestling, or rock throwing, then this game is 100% for you. Thank god I didn't fall into temptation and buy the Bob DLC....
