Please read the whole review to understand why i"m not recommending this game
Chernobylite is an overall good game, the idea and design are really well made but the story combined with time travel just does not fit a game about Chernobyl
The game does one thing like I personally dislike a lot, choosing a mission and then assigning yourself or a friendly NPC to it but that"s just my opinion.
Most of the Animations are also really messy, the english voices often glitch out and you have a mix out of Russian and reverse speaking. Also the loading screen might seem cool but in reality it"s just longer loading times for a somewhat fancy loading screen.
With all that aside this game has good features, for example that if you pick different decisions there will be a different outcome sooner or later, that is something that not many do but is a fantastic feature, the flashbacks of Igor (the main character) are also a really nice touch, the Geiger Counter is another nice thing to have but in the end it comes down to the randomness that is the story, this game has it"s flaws but also some really good features.
In my opinion this game can be a lot better if some things are tweaked like the broken english voices or some of the animations
This game is not bad, the idea is good but the execution kind of missed the target

Great game, maybe a bit short but the game over all is very well made, the different characters have a neat design and the puzzles are fun and not really easy which is something not many do, a bit of a challenge is always something i appriciate

I"m not usually one to dislikes games for being similar to others but when the developer says this game IS NOT a total rip off of Changed, then i have to vote against this game, not only is the overall design of this game very identical to Changed but it uses the same Sound effects as in Changed, taking inspiration is ok, but maybe do more of your own idea and obviously don"t tell people it"s not a rip off of Changed when it clearly is one

a Glorious game, i have 15.8 hours in this game and don"t regret a second of this, if you have the 5$ and like a bit of a challenge, get this game

After operation chimera this game went downhill in every way, turning a somewhat ok FPS into a sweaty tryhard toxic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, if you are not with a full squad, dont bother buying it

Never ever have I seen a Game get so violated before and I mean VIOLATED, Perfomance is completely ruined, rubberbanding and insane load times, the UI is a crime to be looked at but, BUT the battlepass works. Crytek please for the love of god stop making your game more and more unplayable, I love the weapons in this game and I love the Theme and visuals but just stop, so much gets changed without getting tested and for what? so you have something "New" in the game? Ever thought about changing the UI on console only? PC UI was completely fine
As it is now, on the 20th August 2024, This Game should NOT be bought or played much until Crytek fixes most if not all the issues, the simple fact a lot of people can"t even play Hunt anymore because of the new minimum requirements is absurd and just plain stupid and I"m sorry for saying this but it is stupid. Unless Crytek actually fixes the big issues and stops making bad changes this game will end up dead actually within a year and I do not want that

Do you know Half life? well i do and damn i cant remember and ""old"" game beeing so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ scray
it used to be a mod and now a game? just holy play it if you like horror the jumpscares are really good and yes it has the old graphics but my god thats what makes this game good

Perfect Horror Murderer if anyone knows the gamemode anymore
Nice level design runs very smooth(for me atleast) good gameplay
many perks,items,playstyles,etc.
i love this game because its free so i can only recommend it
