I'd check for viruses, update drivers, reinstall video drivers, reinstall the game, or install it on a different drive if you have multiple. Does the game lag while you play it or is it just random freezes?

It's probably an issue with your computer, you shouldn't be having issues with a 7700k and a gtx 1080ti, no fucking way.
