A videogame in it's purest form.

In a day and age in which everyone is hating each other over everything, it's a pleasant suprise to see a developer pull its pants down, shake around to all of the internet and just make a game that is actually not trying to be something it isnt.

DOOM has no real goals.

It does not shove your throat with story during the entire campaign. *
It rarely has any other gameplay other than "kill".
It has no real themes or profound ideas.
It lacks depressed lesbian teenagers doing f*ck all.

This, my fellow folk, is a honest to God, "Shoot everything" experience.

It arms you to the teeth.
It throws demons at you.
Git Gud or Get Rekt.

This is a game that understands pretentious bullsh*t wont do any good.

It just wants to be a fun as balls to the walls FPS and have you grining your teeth as you kick hell's butt back where it belongs.

DOOM knows what it wants to be, and embraces it to create one of the most enjoyable single players ever crafted and that l ever had the pleasure to play.

It's everything you could have asked for a DOOM title and a tribute to all things awesome.
I cannot reccomend it enough. Buy it.




* There IS a lore and it is actually very good , what I mean is that the game never forces you to care about it.

This game isn't about fights, gear and screaming from being hit by zombies. Its all about feelings and having a great time with your friends, in my 600 hours played i had many memorable times playing DayZ....Let me give you an exaple:When i got my first gun after 4 hours of looting or when i did my first kill (after some practice on a bambi). So....let's not forget that DayZ has a lot of glitches that are being sorted out as we speak but if you are willing to buy this game for fun and joy it deserves all the money.


Edit 2019: One of the best games for social interactions/generally having fun/grinding with a pal or just hanging in the woods listening to birds.
I have made gorgeous moments both in-game and in reality because of this masterpiece.
Just buy it will ya, it's 2019 and if you're one with some time on your hands go for it.
