Lightfall Review:
My disappointment knows no bounds for Lightfall so far. This is the least engaged I've ever been with the franchise by all means. Despite issues and frustration with the game at different points I could still log on and have some fun and at least know things were going to get fixed. Not anymore. There has been little to no meaningful action by Bungie on fixing the game's shortcomings all year, we lost our amazing mod system that was growing ever expansive and diverse, dungeon design has faltered, raid was atrocious, tormentors are really lame aside from one on Grandmaster, and the support for the core game has been literally nonexistent.

PvE and PvP both are in as bad of a state as they were in Year 1 in terms of reasons to play for veteran players. Why am I going to play a broken PvP for little to nothing? Why am I going to play the same strikes with no incentive to play when they made them harder for no reason? I already was barely playing those playlists. Gambit has gotten nothing in years. Literal years. The only core game thing that is worth playing are Grandmaster Nightfalls but even then just eh?

I can go on and on with this review but I won't, it'd be a waste of time frankly.

2/10, I absolutely do not recommend picking up Destiny 2 and I hate to say it but I think this might end up being my final verdict on the franchise despite playing since early 2015 and sinking around 4k hours into the franchise since D1 between Xbox and PC.
