I suggest playing this mod after you have completed Portal 2's single-player and multiplayer and maybe messed around a bit with community chambers.
Giving you a third portal to travel between two timelines adds a nice twist to the puzzles and may confuse quite a lot of people who don't know their way around the regular Portal mechanics, hence the recommendation to wait until you have finished those playthroughs.
Talking about the number 3, I know Valve hates it, but this mod has so much content (25 single-player and 21 co-op chambers) as such you could call it Portal 3.
Huge props to the guy(s) who made this mod. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone who likes the Portal game series.

WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND THINKS THAT PLAYING A GAME IN COOP WOULD BE FUN WHEN PLAYER 2,3... IS FORCED TO PLAY WITH A GAMEPLEB (I mean gamepad)? IN CONSTANT SPLIT SCREEN??? refunded.

10/10 would let myself be killed by my friend who thought one antidote would be enough to cure 150% cyanide poisoning again

jokes aside: a decently challenging, choices matter, game that keeps getting better with every update the developers ship, great stuff!

Dead world, lacklustre game-play, meat tetris simulator since all other sources of income suck, the suggested possibility of being able to build you stuff conveyed by the store pictures is a straight up lie and much more.

You can let a lot of stuff slide with the early access tag on games, but this asset flick could have been produced in a couple of months of spare time work and it not worth anything above 5€/$5 at all!

While I wish this was an April fools joke it is not - this game however is one.

At one point I purchased the game and started it. The opening screen looked alright, I then alt-tabbed to talk to m'lady and now I have 2.5k hours WTF?

Edit: 2020 now it's 3.5k time flys by.. and so do insta headshotting bunnyhopping scout spinbotters

Multiplayer 6/10 - still has many bugs

In the jungle of absolute garbage games out there atm it is s still a decent game for 15€ if you don't expect too much from it.

Actually a really good game with different endings and meaningful decisions. Will definitly play again for a different outcome!

While other Space Sim & building games take their dear time to add features and develop into something decent Empyrion is taking huge steps in regular intervals and has the potential to outrun many competitors in this field.

Give it a shot - it might suprise you how good it actually is!

Payday 2 is a very fun game to play with your friends or even alone.
It has fun stealth gameplay and if you are more into the guns blazin approach you can also do this with both ways utilizing completly different skill trees. Some parts of the missions are randomzied which gives it a good reaplayability eg. location of the camera surveilliance room.

As of right now Payday 2 is 75% off and costs only around 5€ and I would definitely say it is worth it. Paying the full price of 20€ might not be advised since it is already an older game and it is often discounted. Furthermore depending on how fast you get bored playing similar maps you (or at least one person in your friendlist that starts the heist) might consider purchasing a DLC with additional missions to play.

One final thought on the folks being butthurt about recent changes although they played like 2k hours in this game:
I own Payday 2 for quite a long time now and I was frequently surprised by the fact that there IS actually still new content coming. Sure these are no major updates to the game but it is kind of a good amount to keep even the most determined players playing by giving them a new heist, a new achievement or unlockable or a new character to play with . With this in mind I cannot share the dissapointment some people have about the devs introducing a CS:GO like case/safe system that drops weapon skins.
The items you can purchase with microtransactions are mostly cosmetical maybe get you some stat boosts - dunno did never buy them. What I do know: You do not get an unfair advantage out of them since there even is no PvP in this game. And most important: You dont have to buy it! It is that simple.
I for my part bought what I wanted to play with, bought some DLCs with additional missions what I don't regret, bought a stupid sniper-pack that I never use because they are kinda useless in stealth and I mostly play stealth missions.
Still I don't regret spending a any of that money on the game because it was well worth the fun I got back playing it.

If you really read this far and consider buying the game - consider doing it now (or in the next 5 days) since the 75% discount is really nice and you may even consider talking to your friends if they want to start playing with you because playing this game as co-op with people you know makes it even more fun even if your friends screw up an entire hour-long heist.
