You said a thing about a game I have some connection with that isn't this one and I just wanted to let you know you were playing it wrong.
I give you 3.5 out of 5 Sassy Lions.
Thanks for checking out our Dog Football game.
I watched your video review and was confused. At the end it sounds like you liked the game and look forward to further products from us but still gave it a "not recommended" scoring. It seemed your core concern was that the game was too easy. I noticed that you just played the Play Now mode which is intended for hopping in just for a quick play. That said, the AI analyzes player ability and ramps to match. As such, you weren't doing any tackles or dodges (Hold Left Click Mouse Left, Right, or Up) nor scoring any big ARF bonuses, so the AI was going easy on you. Even so, the key AI ramp occurs in Season Mode. I also notice you had some challenges with controlling the QB in the pocket (QB moves in direction of mouse) and with finer controls with the dogs where walking can be useful at times (hold right click). -- (next post)
I do hope you will try utilizing the tackles and dodges, giving Season Mode a try, and please do update your review if you feel so inclined. Lastly, thanks for noting your interest in further products from us. We are working with Marshawn Lynch to do a "BeastMode" version of the game that has a mix of both Sci-Fi and Jurassic to make for a rather unique addition. However, we will only be able to do so if we do well here on Steam. We will look to fund the game by private investment, like kickstarter, but where all backers have actual ownership in the company along with teammates Jerry Rice & Marshawn Lynch, and where everyone involved gets to be a part of game and company direction. Could be fun! :)
Thanks again for having a play!
Sincerely,
Dan
