I"m not gonna lie, when you first play this game, you will hate yourself, your teammates, and the killer as well. That is all a part of the process, you can be aggressive or immersed, either way just be efficient, do a gen, save a teammate, cleanse a totem, open a chest(maybe), just don"t be a wanderer, it makes the game harder for everyone except the killer. That is the best advice I can give for a new survivor. As for killer, same applies, don"t let the start of the game push you away, smurfs, toxicity, just know when to go somewhere and when to leave somewhere that benefits you, it takes time and experience to know these points in the match, for both sides. Bottom line, don"t let the early game play deter you from wanting to play, there is plenty of fun to be had, of course it is a big grind but in the end it feels so great to get that one survivor you like to P-III 50 with all perks or getting your favorite killers to have the same level. Just don"t burn yourself out trying to grind. Give the game a shot, if you are iffy about it, a sale will always come around, happy running and happy hunting and maybe I"ll see you in the fog. Catch ya on the flip flop.
