Easily a top contender for “Game of The Year”

Another year, another COD campaign completed. They did as they always do, and made a fantastic story. encapsulating details through the saga and bringing it all back round. The campaign is unlike any previous ones, being that you are in a sort of "open world" esque missions, not sure how i feel about that, However, i know an encapsulating story when i see one. The devs made sure to add some good easter eggs during the playthrough. Whether that be from saying "door stuck" when a door is jammed (that one is just stupid). Or to the German Shepherd named 'Riley" in an ode to COD Ghosts. Is this another tease for a Ghosts Reimagining? Without giving too much away in regards to the plot, it does end with a plot point that was in the beginning of the Original MW3. This pay homage to the original games while also re-imagining the MW universe. The end of this game did give me a flashback to when i first played MW3 as a kid. The same punch in the chest, and sadness in a repeat of one of the most heart breaking losses of a character. IS the game worth $70? To most, not at all. However, to people such as myself who have been playing the campaigns to these games for over a decade and like to see the story of the characters, yes. I'll admit, i was hesitant about buying this years game, it looked like a copy paste of the last one. And honestly, it kind of is. Most of this could have just been released as a DLC, but thus is the state of the gaming industry right now. If you look at is with nit picking eyes, it is not anything to go crazy about. But if you just play through and take it in as they way you're meant to, its quite enjoyable. Don't get me wrong though, ♥♥♥♥ Activision and what they have done to the gaming industry. But thank you to the dev studios who still try to make a story in the midst of the corporate ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. While it may not be all that it could have, it still kept me playing. And i think right now, at this state in my life, mental health, and free time, that's all i really need a game to be. still prolly wont play the multiplayer tho

I'm gonna be honest, i had access to the closed alpha/tech test and it had a handful of issues that you would expect from a game that is still heavily in development. Then came launch, in typical battlefield fashion it was an absolute train wreck. Now, i loved the occasional bugs and such like people driving hover-crafts up skyscrapers, it really helped hone in the goofy nature of battlefield. But it was still a big struggle. But as of the recent 0.4.0 Update, all of my complaints have basically been fixed. Hit Registration is good, BLOOM on guns is almost non-existent. And the controls feel so much smoother! I'm no longer having performance drops and honestly, its so refreshing because this game is beautiful. The game i looked so forward to, Battlefield 2042, is finally what it was supposed to be. All that's next is more content.

I've been excited about this game for years now, and to finally be able to play it/own it is awesome. It really blew my mind on to what VR can actually be. This is a really good step. Personally i think this is the best Singleplayer VR game top date, easily. This is a definite play to anyone who's looking into new games.

Very fun, Played it before and after 1.0. Highly recommend.
