Early Access Review
A very fun and creative take on the RTS genre with a great mix of tower defense, building management and walls with lego-like pieces, plus limited-resource expeditions -- plus a fun start to a campaign that weaves in all these aspects. Being able to pause while building is an inspired addition that lets you plan and experiment while saving the stress and worry for when enemies appear at night to smash your walls to bits. A pretty decent amount of content for an early access launch with a clear and intriguing path for the rest of the campaign that took me 20 hours to clear its 11 chapters so far. My one big complaint is that I wish there was an easier way to incorporate ruins into your wall-building instead of having to manually attack and destroy "scenery pieces" if they don't perfectly fit the look your going for (especially when most units have Area of Effect attacks that damage bricks you aren't trying to destroy).

Death’s Door is a must for those looking to scratch the itch of a classic Zelda dungeon-delving game, with the added bonus of impeccable combat against waves of foes in a creepy world.

Secrets are plentiful enough to offset the low variety of rewards, and the cohesion of puzzle-solving and combat encounters worked terrifically to challenge me in all the right ways. While I wish the adventure didn’t end so soon, as a reaper of souls I should know: nothing lasts forever.

Laika: Aged Through Blood is an unrelenting motorcycle ride through a bloody wasteland with one of the most unique and compelling spins on the metroidvania genre. It expertly blends ruthless death-defying combat with a beautiful hand-painted side scrolling world with a riveting story of revenge, desperation, and survival.

Though uncompromising in its insistence that you quickly become adept at handling your bike in addition to taking on multiple threats, a heaping helping of checkpoints guarantees revenge is always within striking distance. If you’ve ever considered yourself a fan of exploring and platforming across 2D landscapes, you’ll find these open roads well worth your time.

The MXC x Battle Royale video game you've always wanted. Even when you lose, its's still a fun time.

Anyone who tells you the Batmobile was tedious and unnecessary fails to realize how much Arkham Knight has elevated its core gameplay pillars. Beyond being a masterfully crafted story, Arkham Knight has built upon everything laid in the foundation of its previous titles - combat is faster and more fluid with an amazing assortment of options to satisfyingly beatdown thugs. Predator moments raise the stakes with even more tactical options and adapting AI. Open world exploration is faster and more efficient, with enticing collectibles glinting in all directions to keep you occupied. There's never been a better superhero game.

"Oblitus is a little game with a big heart, and while not all the bosses end up as intimidating as they seem, the inclusion of random enhancements and beautiful, subtly changing environments make every run a unique and perilous adventure worth fighting. The finale may not be what I expected, but upon unlocking the “true ending” I realized it was just the kind of ending our little hero deserves." - Me as per my review on IGN.com

Great Risk/Reward
Challenging Spear Combat
-Some Predictable Bosses
-Unavoidable Pits of Death

Is this game as good as the rest of the series? No. But it tries. ACR is only guilty of testing out too many new mechanics, most of which fall flat. But fans of the series will come to realize the game still has charm, if you play the way it's meant to be played.

This game defines a great storytelling experience. Mixing first person shooter gameplay with the ability to choose how to begin and end every encounter. Rarely can one find a game that mixes action packed encounters with meaningful dialoge and debates. If you played the first Deus Ex, you should even ask yourself if this is worth your money. If you haven't, you are in for a treat...then play Deus Ex 1 afterwards.

Yes, it's dated, and obviously so. Even so, Splinter Cell is a defining example of the stealth genre. The game allows you enough freedom to complete your objectives to suit your playstyle. 10 dollars might seem a bit much, but on sale - or better yet in a series sale pack - its worth a buy.

Torchlight is perfect if you love dungeon crawlers but are either out of ones to play or can't wait for Diablo 3. The lack of mutliplayer is a shame, but with so many levels of randomized fun and new elements like pets and retirement system, you'll be sure to get your moneys worth in no time.
