Elden Ring stands as a magnificent addition to the souls genre, a testament to FromSoftware's mastery in level design and world building. From the Volcano Manor to the the Royal Academy, each locale is intricate and vast, inviting endless exploration and revelation across multiple playthroughs.

The game boasts a incredible range of armaments, weapon arts, incantations, spells, and spirit summons, ensuring every player can forge their own path through its challenges. The diversity in weapons and abilities promotes strategy and creativity, encouraging players to approach each encounter with a distinct and personal flair. Players can choose to alter their entire build at a moments notice if they so choose.

Many raise the question of difficulty in this game. There is a culture surrounding the franchise that overemphasizes the "use of skill" or prioritizes certain playstyles while questioning the legitimacy of others. Elden Ring offers the player the ability to significantly alter the difficulty of the game, and grants players agency in shaping their experience. The freedom of choice offered to the player is unparalleled. You as the player can forgo leveling, refuse to upgrade, and punch god himself if you desire. Alternatively, you can fight the final boss at the max level, summon your friends and many of the games interesting NPCs or spirit ashes. It doesn't matter how you choose to play, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

There is no prescribed path to greatness. Everyone experiences a piece of art differently.

The game invokes a passion and a desire for achievement so strong that it tests the very limits of perseverance and resilience in some. If you find your resolve weakened at times, you're not alone, struggle is part of the journey, just don't lose yourself along the way.

Be safe friend, and don't you dare go hollow.
