I'm really surprised with myself. I love this game so much, yet I've never made a review for it. I'm not gonna give you an essay on why I love it, but I will give attention to what I think makes it great. For starters, the soundtrack is absolutely amazing. The music has such a unique vibe to it that matches what's going on really well. Another point I believe the casual gamer will like is that you're hardly punished for dying (when you die, you just go to where you entered that screen. It makes sense when you play) and I think the game is overall not too hard. It tries to push the boundaries of what you can handle from time to time through new mechanics and building upon old ones, but I think it does it just right. To top it off, the game just feels really smooth to play, It may take some time to adjust, but the movement is criminally smooth. Even if you may not be super crazy for platformers, 100% recommend giving the game a shot. Afterall, this game is all about doing something uncomfortable, so just go for it. If any new climbers find this review, then I wish you well and I know you can make it to the summit!

Edit after a few years: BANGER ALERT! Seriously, please give this game a chance if you're considering it. I stand by my original opinions to an even greater extent after all this time. Phenomenal game, backed by fantastic music, art, and movement, especially once you learn some of the movement tech. Please please please please please try it. Also, if the game is too hard, there's an assist mode which can allow someone to still enjoy the aspects of the game while minimizing difficulty.
